  7. Welcome I used to have two 12" ssd's and loved them. Don't worry Nick and Scott are great people to deal with and they will help you and if they are busy we will do our best to help you.
  8. Which app? Torque Pro There is a free one and one that you pay for, which do you like better? Same but some features are only available when you pay. I went free first and "needed" the pay but don't remember why. Only one way to find out. I figured just buy it and I will have less than $25 in everything. Thanks again.
  9. No problem sweating pipes, just how things change quickly. Valves, seats, etc.
  10. One thing I don't really like to do is plumbing, but she will get her new faucet and it will not be junk build quality!
  11. I came home after work expecting to get a shower, turned the handle and nothing. Damn if someone did not strip the handle. I figured an easy fix, but no! I currently have a three handle shower facuet and it does leak a little in the mixing valve. Spent the day looking for parts and was told that my faucet style was going away and the single handle was taking over the industry. While looking at these faucets I was suprised how cheap they are made today. Guess the wife gets her way and I will update the faucet.

  17. If you just want to read faults and reset the standard ones the amazon bluetooth connect to your smart phone reader for $15 works. I looked at them, but figured they were junk. Do you have one of have ever used one? Good stuff usually. A couple of my friends have something similar, they use Bluetooth ELM327 interfaces off ebay. Cheap, simple and they work well. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mini-ELM327-V1-5-OBD2-II-Bluetooth-Diagnostic-Car-Auto-Interface-Scanner-S3-/200960099054 I actually know someone who uses torque. It seems decent. Ok then I will go that route, seems cheap enough. Thanks for all the input guys.
  18. I will have to read that at my desk.

Do you have one of have ever used one? Torque is a decent app. You can snag an adapter on ebay on the cheap as Sean mentioned. Not sure about the unit you linked, but I assume it is similar. OBD2 is standardized so finding decent readers like that is not hard. It really depends on what you want to spend. Really I just want something to play around with and watch motor functions and reset codes when needed. Maybe that is why the one I linked looked fun to play around with.
  20. Called them and waiting on them to return from lunck.

  23. Seth, I am looking for a decent code reader and was wondering what you would use. I would like to buy from sears, but if you can point me to another for similar money I will go that route. I just want something to read codes and be able to reset them, nothing super pricy, but less than $250.00. If there is anything.
  24. or round stock with threads cut as deep as needed.
  25. Even a piece of good all thread with nuts and washers would work.
