I do have my list of things to check that is a normal wear item at 100k.

I have been on the VW forums reading a lot and it seems the 2.0 is the safe bet out of the new beetles.

Damn Ryan that is very close to what we just settled on. Looks like the green beetle will be coming home tomorrow for $2850. It does need some things and I am sure there are a couple more things I did not find.

Yikes. Have it checked out. Mechanical nightmares IMO. My dad has a 2000 and it is the least fun thing to work on I've ever worked on. Little shit breaks on it like crazy as well. I did check it over and it does need little things, not really a big deal. The current owner has always taken it to the shop for all maintenance. The price posted is not what I will be paying them if we decide to get it.

It was pretty quiet when I saw it. Yah, you missed Slamology. I wish you would have made that. It really was an IAK event. We had that bish on lock with all the members there lol. I have plans to bring both vehicles next year. The burban towing the elantra will be a site to see. I feel like it's going to be just like Jason with his Alero lol. When I as out Chuck was removing his subs to sell right in the parking lot. No doubt he is loud as all IAK guys are.

Seems like my m-th regimen will be slacks with good shoes and belt with a polo or button down with no tie. Friday is truly casual friday. Jeans and a t-shirt seems to be par for the course around here. For me it will be jeans, polished boots and again either a button up or polo. I just want to dress as the people above me do or slightly better. As long as I am not the underdressed guy there I thinkI will do fine. The system is a PITA to work but once it's understood how to navigate it, it's not that bad. J You'll do fine no matter how you're dressed, bud. Thanks guys. It's just nerve racking to figure all this shit out again. One style of dress daily fotr so long, then all new rules has been such a change for me. I'm slowly adjusting. J You have no worries because you have us!
