I used ones be bought at an auction when a local home building company went out. Lots of spares.

Did it rust? Yeah... Chromed brass rusts how? Mine did the same thing a couple years back. Not sure how or why, but I replaced with stainless.

I have to pick up a smaller hood as I only have a longer one for my zoom lens. The hood is on the list. No need to get the filter thn.
