I am really liking the (old school big band - Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker) that Sean recommended. Oh yea I like the old big band jazz as well. Just something about the mood atmosphere and passion of the music that draws me to it. It's a nice change from my regular daily listening choices. My music tastes are growing and now with pandora I can try lots of different styles. Pandora is great. Seems like the older I get the more refined my musical tastes evolve. I had Big Band Jazz on at home and my wife was like "What Are You Listening To" lol. My wife looks at me like I am a tard! Who know maybe I am, but who cares.

Mingus can be all over the place too, but I bet Pandora has a very limited collection. Sounds like more of his classics before he went avant garde, err defined it. I have the Pandora thing on my phone now. Suggestions on jazz? Have a ton, but that is like asking for suggestions on Rock except there are even more mini-genre's. What do you think you might like? I really have not idea what I like. Throw up some of your top names and I will add them to my list to start listening to. How about an instrument? Saxophone and chello. Interesting. Not so many cello players in Jazz. Oscar Pettiford probably being the most serious, although you'll grab some of him on bass too. Ray Brown briefly played cello on a few albums as well. You may also like Yo Yo Ma as a cellist. Some of his recordings are fun. Saw him live with Bobby McFerrin a while back and it was quite a show. Sax is much easier, but many more styles. Sort of like guitar is to rock... I am not commenting on products, but their marketing methods. Having the infuence to convince people to run out and buy a new product every 4 to 6 months says something.

Getting real tired of hearing this on the radio. If you don't have an iphone then you don't have an iphone. Another reason to not buy any craple products.
