Thanks J I was playing with one yesterday and it seems decent. I want to see what the video quality looks like on my tv. Currently I am converting HI8 video to dvd and the picture quality sucks! I'd check National Camera for refurbs. Everything is half price usually. Convenient, since I'm in a market for a camera They have a nice selection, just not the one I am looking for. I was looking at the Canon S90, $330 new is ok...it's over $600 here... Are you able to purchase it? Might be a dumb question.

Anybody have tips on converting HI8 tapes to dvd? Currently I am using s-video and audio out going into a dvd burner. Picture looks shitty and sound sucks.
