Yep. I like the soft foot bed also.
Neither did I until the wife talked me into buying a pair of birks in 2004.
For working inside or outside? Inside, outside, upside down; basically any situation where sandals or canvas/synthetic footwear would be ill advised. I've got a handful of prospective models to try out, most of them Red Wings. I just need the time and funds to go shopping, both of which are in short supply following my clinic visits and that whole parvo scare. And yes I did help remodel the den mostly wearing my leather Clarks sandals, I have done 60-70% of my yard landscaping/gardening in my birks. Sometimes... I even shovel in my birks (with socks of course). I did put on my redwing steel toes for working the jackhammer on the ponds though..... I love my birks too. I am going to add to my collection this year as I have a pair that is finally falling apart after 6 years of wear. When I go to work I like my dr martens. 12+hrs on concret and still bouncy.

Just got back, had the boy out for some practice. He is getting better, slowly.

Mark I have got to tell you that through the Haunt industry, I have met a lot of web builders who offer lots of goodies and never really deliver. Now you on the other hand seem to give more than most people expect or maybe it is just what I am seeing. Any how great work and I do name drop when I can, so maybe at some point they will contact you.

I always liked Christmas the best, until we started the haunt. Now we celebrate halloween for almost 2 months and open during big events in our town. This year we are doing a haunted mansion. 2 months of Halloween would be freakin' awesome!! This coming year 2011 might be more depending on how the people like the changes.
