Honestly if you are only going to use one ED, RE, or orion amp you would be better off running 1 maybe 2 of them. If you had an orion 1200d on each now that would kick. The will get pretty loud with 300 or so watts but if you put 1200 to each with a medium to large upper tuned box you would be sitting pretty. Just my .02

I do not work for stereo Integrity, I am a fellow poster just like everyone else. I have read the terms of service and do not see where I have broke any of them. I just got another 20 min of listening time in before shut off...at this point if it dies, it dies. Tomorrow I will do what Tom suggested, and take it to the local shop. Last option is to send it off to KB.

I havent had to replace any so far. The Sunn Head I have is 25+years old. Original tubes. Gets HELLA loud with 8 12s

I still got to hear that mag for an hour. I have been going out to the truck every 2 hours or so and listening to it until I cant keep my hand on the amp.

Yeah but here is the weird part... wired at both 4 and 1 ohm with absolutly zero gain the amp get very hot. Between 5 minutes to 1 hour depenging on the music it goes into thermal protection...zero gain, I am at a major loss.

I just wanted to take a sec to thank Nick and everyone else accociated with Stereo Integrity. You guys make a great product for an excellent price. I have installed the mag in a temporary install. After breaking it in lastnight it was put into a 1.7cu.ft. sealed enclosure(before sub displacement). I am running a memphis 1000d to it. Going from 2 subs to one I will admit I lost some output, BUT, and I mean but, what I lost in output I drastically gained in low end extention and accuracy. Which is fine to me. I have ear problems anyways. Now in total I have about 1 hour listening time on it due to and unexpected amp problem (for some reason the amp goes into thermal protection. This is wired at both 4 and 1 ohm loads, and absolutly zero gain). I am ready to get this amp or even another in working order to further review this magnificent subwoofer. This is just a quick update. I will be adding to this when my amplifier problems are solved. Thanks again guys, -Justin
