  14. What are the fuse ratings of your amps? Amperage draw... take rms and divide by peak Ex.600rms/1200peak=.50% take % and multiply by fuse rating Ex. 60a(two 30a fuses)*.50=30a continious draw Alternators usually have 40% reserve ex. 105a alt 105a*.40=42a reserve You may not need a 200a alt. This is an easy way to estimate on how big an upgrade you will need. Say you have a 105a alt (my truck does) it does 75@ idle and 105 at full rpm. your system requires 50a total but your amp only has 42 in reserve. You could get by with a 130a alt.

  17. Before you go and try to cut everything out you should try something. I had an '88 camaro which is pretty much the same car. The back cubby/trunk is sealed good enough that you can actually take a piece of MDF and cut it so that it fits in the groove in the back. I had a pair of Pioneer 10" back there with the board sealed using a type of double sided foam tape. You may want to give that a try, I liked it, it may save you from more cutting/ work.
  18. Good tips, I have read everything you have suggested at one site or another. My current mounting locations look like this... I was thinking of simply angling them more tword the opposite headrest.
