no..for two reasons. first, it's a 15 (SI proto) vs 12 (rl-p). because of that i can't use the same boxes. second, the proto has a bit of motor damage due to the chroming process, which at higher power levels lets itself be known. if i could get ahold of the proto 12, u betcha it would happen! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Kent, I know that you would take care of my sub as I would yours. The solid blue is usually the power antenna and the blue with the white stripe is usually the remote wire. If you have a DMM use it to see which one stays on and which one turns on and off when switching from CD to radio. For the Wire color/ codes try www.the12volt.com

I just got to meet carly patterson...

My CDT HD's have excelent mid-bass. I had them in very tiny baffles and they played down to about 80hz. That obvously wasnt good enough for me. Took the baffles off, sealed my doors up, added egg crate behind the mids for better mid range clarity (egg crate is ised in my set up to break up the back wave from the speakers), added some soft clay to better seal the MDF mounting rings, and tada...they play clean all the way down to 63hz at the 12db x-over setting. No distortion, no breaking up, no over excursion. Just clean mid-bass.

I have a crappy sony reciever, the ones you buy in the home theatre system kits. i can get my hands on a lanzar 2 channel to test tho. ill try that and see what happens. is it ok that i just clipped the speaker cable on the harness splice extra cable and run it back to the amp? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It is OK as long as it is no longer hooked up to the headunit on the other end.
