    Good morning all
  11. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> One more thing to say.... ok.. maybe two... alright so that is a few things... but I loath Macs with a passion... LOL <{POST_SNAPBACK}> lol I built my own computer... something you Mac boys really can't do so well eh? ... but aside from that... I have virus protection built into the CPU on my machine... as well as some of the best and tightest security around. Comes with the territory.... Besides... I know of a few good virus scripts that can shut down a mac pretty quick LOL When your PC crashes from a virus Ill still be here typing away, and when you open up your computer and see all the mess of wires, please dont call me crying. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Firewall will never allow the virus to enter, also everything is backed up on the server in the house. Along with another external HD. Plus Norton has yet to fail me As far as building a comp, thats cool, I am not that knowlagable, but I work for CompUSA so I probly paid MUCH less then you think. Plus I am big into Music and graphics and a Mac is the way to go for me. As far as the wire thing I stated If you have ever seen the internals of a mac you would understand. No worries I still love you in a man crush sort of way <{POST_SNAPBACK}> lol I have seen the inside and I know what you mean, but the old comparison for music and graphics from mac to pc... is well dead isssue now. I mean 75% of graphics cards in pc's now are capable of doing anything a mac can do. Mine... is well... above and beyond most mac's dreams.... lol but I paid about $550 for the card alone. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That is more then I paid for my whole comp including the upgrades

Nick if your gonna ship that to someone you best bet for a short shipment would be an a pallet shipped via Fedex freight, or cross country via Watkins motor lines. If you do decide to ship it and the buyer is thinking about backing cause of shipping fees give me a shout, I may be able to pull a few strings at Fedex and get you my rates
  13. Kent, I actually started there, 1st forum, then I found where I belong. I really feel sorry for N2audio, he is a good guy with a very decent amount of knowedge, and he is all alone. I try to answer any question that I can over there when I feel like helping, but I mean I really cant help some of them. I think I will PM N2 to join us.

    Well I am all alone,
  20. If you're not doing so already ... try and track down all of the scholarships/bursaries (sp?) available both locally and nation(internationally maybe) wide as well. Even if they are essay entry style scholarships ... it can't hurt. $500 here, $1000 there, $250 somewhere else ... it all adds up - even if it pays just for books ... four years of books could pay tuition for one year in some places. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Very wise idea. O/T for 1 sec, Kent, I dont collect guns but I do have several antique swords The big ivory dildo is an actual walrus tusk, highly valuable, cause illegal to kill them now. The rest are a civil war era sword, a ww I officer's dress sword, a ww II dress sword, and a vietnam marines dress sword, the wooden staff is a tank commanders staff that ould have a flag attached (flag is in a lock box in my closet) and for some reason I was passed down a horn that was made from a bull I think, I am not sure about that. Oh and the boomerag that I have never thrown, and I have had it since I was 7 lol.
