hi guys on my omega i checked the ohm load on each coil i got 1.7 on one and 3.2 on the other coil what the hell happen? this sub works fine no coil rub

Why Atomic? Plenty of other great choices on this forum where you will get all the support needed. Not to sure you can get that through Atomic. You can't get anything through Atomic your right screw atomic. but id like to buy some used equipment

this is the reason why i want to trade my cascade designs omega 18 for a pair of 10s or 12 that will handle the power i dont have money to spend or i would get what i want

Actually the 10s have copper coils but I have used 12s with aluminum coils. If you know what you're doing then they will take 3k daily. A lot of the handling with be in the box. The SSDs have 3" voice coils so thermally they will take it. Subsonic filter and box tuning will help with mechanical limits. All the other choices are great too especially if you don't know what you're doing to run the SSDs on 1.5k watts each. But I never asked what amp you got or if you even have the amp yet. im using the same amp i have been my sundown saz3000d and i have 140 amp alt kinetik hc2400 and a 800 all 1/0

i have been in it for 3 years now i have had a type r 12 type r 15 a 15 in bl a 15 cascade design and now i have a 18 omega so i did start off small 500 watts to 1k to 2k to 3k. i just want to down grade i want the power still but in a smaller package because i want to use my trunk again hahaha

yea i dont want to burp i want it as a daily driver. would 2 atomic apocalypse 10s handle that power daily?

Phi from this forum said that 2 ssd 10s with aluminum coils and bp option. Will be able to handle 3 k rms is that true please let me know thanks

if your on a low budget ( in know i was there once) i would go with hifonics cant go wrong for the money. but if you could save for longer for quality id go with a sundown 2000d.

If i had a big enclosure, (which wouldnt fit) with same everything, i would have efficiency, but i don't have a box that will fit. The only option i have over this, is one or two small batteries (Are AGM batteries spill proof? If so, I would choose them.) plus a stronger amp. I was thinking a 50.4 or a RF200.2 (I would prefer to try a 50.4, i had a RF200.2, and it was very power-hungry). That would let me have a small box, more power, and in turn, a little more low end. Or..... What are a few low to medium power 8" woofers i could run in a super small ported box, or more likely, sealed? Mounting depth would have to be no more than 5" The amp would either be a 50.4 or maybe a 125.2 My current dimensions are 14"x6"x9.5" external, with .5" mdf Try going to partsexpress.com for the subs

i still have it but sadly im not using it anymore i upgraded to an 18 cascade omega this box was killer

heres my box measurements 5.339 cubic feet i want to use areo ports to tune this box to 30 Hz I want to use maybe 2 - 4 inch areos or what ever you guys think would be the best to use please include the measurement of the flares too please break down the measurements to the areos ill get them for parts express. thanks guys, Bill. ps I need to know asap cause i have the box built its ready to go.

i have an sr 10 in my room and im powering it by my QSC rmx 1450 at 2 ohm im putting 1400 rms to it and it likes it but its nice clean power.
