Today I had the opportunity to build the amp rack for the Orion 2500D and 8004. The two distribution blocks are also mounted on the rack. Here is how it went down: I used stainless steel 10-24 and 8-32 t-nuts and hardware. All of the cables will come up from beneath the false floor, so I used plastic snap in grommets.

Powermaster Alt's
JEGS also sells them, though I've never purchased from them. If I were you, I'd just buy direct like Scottie said.

From: 3000D Heads Up
- Its been awhile...
I'd like to say a budget doesn't matter, because I'll just save up until I have enough. I normally try to purchase the right thing, the first time around. What are my other options if I were to pick up a double din besides Alpine's? I mean I know what other double dins are available but what crossover would I need?- Its been awhile...
I guess what I have are two options.. 1) Pick up Pioneer 800/880PRS and run it actively through the headunit or 2) Pick up a double din and an external processor and run active that way. Which option gives me the most settings and would be easier to set-up? And could somebody recommend an external crossover that could be used.- Its been awhile...
A few weeks ago I started a build log which I had planned on updating as I went along with the equipment I was installing. I quickly realized I had a baseline I was traveling, but quite often got off course. I'm in need of some recommendations or for someone to get me started/finished on this process. Below is what I've purchased already or have had gathered over the past months. Subwoofers: Two 12" Fi Qs Subwoofer Amp: Orion 2500D Mids: "AA" Carbon Mids Tweeters: Mids/ Tweeter Amp: Orion 8004 I had planned on running the carbon mids and a set of Seas tweeter from Madisound actively, but thats as far as this idea has went. I knew I either needed a headunit that could handle the processing or I needed an external crossover/processor. Here the road gets bumpy though. I wanted to pick up a Double Din DVD unit, but I've yet to find any that have the processing and crossover capabilities so an external EQ was something I needed. I jumped the gun and picked up what I thought I needed (AudioControl EQX) and I soon realized I was in over my head. Could someone help me get pointed in the right direction. I'm not 100% set on a DD unit, so I'm definitely still open suggestions. I'm sure there are many details missing, but I'll try to answer them as they arise. - Want a 200 Amp alt, which company?
KnuKonceptz's price probably better looking, but I've heard nothing but good about PowerMaster.- pics of 7in midbass?
Where'd you pick em up from, or did you order them since your on the team?- pics of 7in midbass?
Nick had these posted these a couple days ago... sqhertz posted these images as well... I failed to take any pictures while I was home this past weekend, so you'll have to wait a few more days to see mine. KB- pics of 7in midbass?
There are a few floating around.- SSA no longer selling AA?
My guess would be AA would give a MSRP and then the dealer could sell them at what they want.- SSA no longer selling AA?
I'm sure once a official announcement is posted, everything will make a lot more sense. I would think the authorized dealers list would be posted near the time as the press release. - Its been awhile...
