  2. thanks for the help tripp3r!
  3. Well ive decided since i still have a week or two before i can start building my box, im going to design a ported box instead of a sealed box for my single ss rl-p 18. im going to stick with the suggested size and tuning(5cubes, 27hz) but i want to use flared aero ports. So here are some questions. 1) what diameter port should i buy and how many?( i kind of want two for the looks, but if ones better, let me know) 2) do you measure the flare of the port when tuning it? 3) were is a good place to buy them? thanks for the help!
  4. X2 Your 100% positive you can fit a 15 in that trunk in the proper box right? What is the proper amount of cubic ft. for ssa icon 15 in a ported box?
  5. i thought you couldnt get a system???
  6. Im feelin the ssa icon 15 and saz1000d combo. lol

  8. could i put one rca in the "front" channel on the head unit, then the other in the "rear" channel? im confused were the second one would go. thanks
  9. O yea! lol i forgot about the manual. I have one more question on the kicker. it has two rca inputs. which one do i use?
  10. I have an aq2200d that will be powering a ss rl-p 18 at 4 ohms. When i go to wire it up, do i use the outside pos and neg ports on the amp? Also, i have a kicker 200.4 for one set of components. I want to bridge the amp to make 100.2 at 4 ohms, but im confused when it comes to wiring it. there are two rows of inputs for speakers. one row says amp 1, and the other says amp 2. would i just do one speaker on one row, then the other on the second row? sorry its confusing. ill try and find a picture. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/pictures.php?id=11366
  11. I was wondering if I needed to solder the ends of my power wire(1/0 knuconcepts) before i put it into my amps. Same goes for the speaker wire going to my sub and speakers. Also, can i just get a cheap battery powered soldering iron, or do i have to get a nicer one? thanks.
  12. Dont forget Soundsplinter!! it only took 4 days for my sub to ship!! And Mike kept me up to date the whole time!
  13. i just ordered all of my wiring from knukoncepts and i want to make sure i got the right fuse type. I have an aq2200d, and i got the 200A fuse type. Is that right?
  14. haha i will. thanks for the help everyone!
  15. I think ill use drywall screws. i have one more question. Do i have to pre drill the holes to mount the sub? thanks for the help :bigclap:
  16. Sweet thanks!
  17. Thanks. i was just making sure there is no "supreme" brand or type. lol i want to do it right.
  18. Woooo i cant wait to see this! i think you should seal it first, then if you dont like it, try ported. im sure you have an idea what rl-p's sound like ported anyway! lol
  19. Im about to start building my box today, and i want to know the right screws and glue to get for it. thanks for the help.
