i didnt know that Fi and Ascendant Audio were even related comapnies... what are the differences in the drivers you designed for each company and why both?? also which came first? i find it very interesting that i just now found this out, when ever since i got big into car audio, Fi has been my favorite company by far.

audiopulse woofers can take some pretty serious abuse. or some Bl or Btl 12's...or Mach 5 spl series 12's can take some abuse...

most here will say battery/alternator is better than a capacitor, and i would have to agree. you wont necesarily need one, but its always good to upgrade when pushing a lot of power.

there really isnt even a comparison between the two...other than the fact that the same company makes them. they are two different subs for two different purposes. q is an sq based woofer and the btl is an spl woofer....that one top of tons of internal differences that i cant even name...i just know there are.

that would be a good amp for the btl....i think autotek amps power ratings are underrated from what i have heard, so it probably puts out a bit more than 2000watts rms

Exactly, he doesn't want the lows. He wants output. That isn't low. what do you mean...i thought you would want a sub that hits the lows really well with that type of music? could you explain?

he does...all he listens to is jeezy and gorilla zoe. and some gucci.

he doesnt have any specific goals....he doesnt care if it doesnt sound good with music he just wants a ton of bass. very vague i know, but thats what hes told me before.
