well for one, he's a police officer. and an ex marine. so he has a gun with him all the time...and CAN use it with no reprocussions if he wanted to(not saying that he would for no reason) and good luck gettin into it or gettin it on a tow truck without settin off the alarm...and you can hear that a mile away. somebody has tried before...didnt get too far. but why does it matter? your not gonna try and steal it and neither is anybody else here...so i dont see why its important

i think all jl models are sq, with the exception of the w7...and even that i believe is still designed to be an sq oriented sub.

oh yeah it is. he doesnt let anybody drive it though, he only drives it to shows and when he goes clubbin. it would be a bitch to try and get it....but im down for whatever. a couple buddies have some sick setups, i can see if my friend wit the mojo's wants to ride out one day.

depending on where you are im within an hour or two...my bro has a 04 denali with 4 18" btls. dont know if i could get it from him to give you a demo though...

well today at school my friend brought his explorer into the shop for an oil change....i could help but notice a huge "M" on his back window and knew what it was when i saw it. hes got 2 15" memphis mojo's and 2 MC2000D's powering them. his chit was slappin hard as hell. i have never heard memphis subs before and was thoroughly impressed by them. one of the loudest setups with 2 15's ive heard next to btls... what would you say are comparable subs to the mojo's...do a lot of people run them? what do you guys think about them in general...worth the money?

i think thats what im going to do....or wait for the xcons and get a listen of those and see how i like them.

i agree...2 12" q's ported over the 15's sealed. the q's and cvx's though i wouldnt really compare to each other though...

What your craving is a setup that plays really loud from the mid 30's - 50's in Hz and potentially even much higher... thats exactly what i want....so let me ask you, what do you suggest?

and if you got designs from fisher customs or pound that sound(dont know which one) there is the answer to your question right there....

doubt youll get a design directly from Fi...all youll get there are box recommendations(size, tuning etc)

alright, well i dunno what you personally consider loud. but i listen to music with lots of lows....to me thats what i consider loud. lows that make it hard to breath...blurr your vision. that kidna think. i know highs to the same but thats just what i consider loud.

could you explain? im thinking 29-33hz...in there somewhere.

i want it to sound clear...i dont want to just have insane spl numbers. i may just wait for the xcon....never disappointed with sundown.

COMPLETELY slipped my mind....may have to wait for those to come out. would you say will get loud and put up good numbers and still have good sq? and to OldSkool...they are all in my budget, its just a matter of which sub is the better choice for what im looking at....there is so much out there in the market now its hard to make a decision. im sure whatever decision i do make i will be satisfied with it, but i just want to make the best one.
