  2. Why does that matter?
  3. We got an exclusive pre-release of Alpine's 2008 lineup. http://www.floridacaraudio.com/?p=19 Be sure to check this new Audyssey Imprint technology. It does time alignment by frequency!
  4. I don't think there is a number, sit tight they'll get it worked out. Great girlfriend though B)
  5. There aren't anything special about Kinetik batteries, keep the yellow tops.
  6. I have the 980BT. The bluetooth is the best feature, it makes phone calls so much easier and it works excellent. I'm a Pioneer fanboy though, I have no experience with that Alpine model.
  7. nice lows If you're slowing your own tracks, please post and share!
  8. If you got money for toys, buy them. Those 3 yellow tops are plenty of power, no need for the 16v.
  9. nice deck, strange car
  10. Whhaaat, I gotta see the pics of HID reverse lights! I liked the thrill of backing up with my tint and not seeing anything! ...and you answer your question, no you don't need dual alt's. $600 for two alts w/bracket, that sounds to good to be true.

Just pick the cheapest of the 4. I'm using Stinger Expert series from 2005. They have great locking connecters and a thick jacket along with a molded Y. I love em.
  12. I had the alarm installed this weekend. Buzz Thompson from Calusa Concepts installed it for me, and like everything else he did a great job. This is the CompuStar Pro P2W9000FMR, its a great 2-way alarm and packs tons of options. There were 3 pages of features for programming and each feature had 3 options. The car is hella secure now, it has anti-jack features, key sensing etc. I recommend the Compustar to anyone. I added a trunk solenoid, hoodpin, and backup battery as well. On with the pics... Here is the solenoid for the trunk (9th gen corollas don't have a power trunk option) solenoid mounted inside the trunk lid Tearing up the dash... Every connection was soldered and heat shrinked. Wireloom was also used where applicable. Backup battery FTW Pic of the two-way remote (alarm also came with a one-way remote)
  13. godsgift2woman We play Halo 3 (social slayer) under my roommates account ^^
  14. Well I'm going to cater to the frequency response of the car, by RTA'ing the car with a sub inside and outside of the car and build a box based on those results.
  15. windshield, sides, and tag cover. pic I may get my alarm installed this weekend.
  16. I haven't installed it in an SQ type box yet... I guess you could consider this an SQL setup I ran into $300 of tint tickets I had to pay to avoid my license getting suspended, so I'll have to wait a little while longer to get it installed haha...
  17. that is a wacky concept.
  18. Coming along for sure... crappy pics FTL
  19. So the Kicker SS's aren't good enough? What don't you like about them?
  20. I bought my dad a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 231's for Christmas. $63 shipped. He's got a new job and will be flying in and out if the country so I figured a decent set of headphones would make a great gift. Thanks Neil for recomending the headphone website, it helped make my decision. Although I'm guessing noice canceling headphones would have been better for flying? For my options and budget, I thought these were the best.
  21. $70 for a 2-way wow! Good deal there if it works as well as you say it does. I didn't spend the $589 that mine retails for, so it wasn't that expensive.
  22. I had a 400.2 with a SXRC. I sold my 400.2 and bought a 900.2. They are great for going active and have lots of adjustablility. With the SXRC I can makes changes on the fly, and also switch between pre-sets with the press of a button.
  23. CompuStar Pro P2W9000FMR here - Voltage display on remote - Internal vehicle temperature display (to let me know when the a/c is at the right temp for entry ) - Cold and hot starting with temperature - Turbo Timer (extendable with remote) - Time start set on remote by user Cant beat that!
  24. I also buy DVD-Audio disks... awesome stuff 1.5mbps FTW DTS-HD plays up to 6.0 mbps!
