I am looking at setting up a sub in my car. I have had systems in the past, but I'm used to just running subs from Crutchfield or Best Buy - just choose your size, amount of coils, and throw it in the car. I am looking for a single sub that can handle a lot of power, but still be very clean. I'm not looking to go to any shows or SPL competitions, I just want to enjoy it in my daily driver. My problem is I'm ignorant on reading the specs for the subs on Fi's product page - I don't know what they mean by Fs, Re, Qms, Qes, etc. I have an Elemental Designs Nine.1 amp that I am going to use. It is rated 1200W x 1 @ 1 Ohm and 900W x 1 @ 2 Ohm. What sub would best fit my needs - something like a SSD12 or a Q12? If so, how would it set it up? I'm new to all of this, so any help is appreciated.
