  1. i like michelins, they have always proven to be the quietest and most comfortable tires made for my car, and very durable. i've mounted a couple ps a/s on wheels and they're damn stiff tires, really well made. you could always say fuck being practical and get yourself some toyo ra1's or ps cups
  2. hunt them down and eat them, turkeys are really annoying birds (though not as mean as geese).
  3. mornin' hop, got some rain out here again! nice ride pengu.
  4. you're an obnoxious little shit stain, aren't you? someone has to keep you squirts in check...
  5. engrish?
  6. exclude the people that don't do work, if they don't do anything don't let them take credit for your work. i had a group presentation in a mass media class last year and we just left one girl out entirely. she never really helped contribute so she got cut out of the loop. not sure what your situation is but i HATE when people try to take credit for my efforts. this was kind of a last minute thing, so I guess there's some amount of excuse, they had 10 hours from when I first emailed them saying we need to work on it to when I finished (it didn't take nearly that long to actually do) and this is the first assignment in a string of things for this project and I have a feeling I'm stuck with them no matter how much work they do so I can't just discard them that sucks, it's one thing when you have one bad apple, but when you got a whole team using you as a crutch i guess all you can do is assume that doing the extra work will build your character I talked to them today, and I told them that if I end up writing the final paper, it's only going to have my name on it. that's a legit solution, you do work, you take credit for it. there's no real argument with that. oh, and i like your new fuel consuming device :bigclap:
  7. mmmmm Stuffed pork tenderloin.
  8. Well now Texas could give Duke fits. I don't think Duke is all they're slated to be this year. But I do find it so funny that their bitch boy Paulus got benched in his senior year. :bigclap: bravo, duke ftl.
  9. IMO, unless you beat the piss out of your car the price performance of GTX is hard to beat. Personally even if I use synth in a car I change it so often that the benefits over normal oil in good condition is non-existent. Castrol takes more abuse than most and the only real advantage of synth is that it doesn't breakdown and lose lubrication. Well if you don't let normal oil breakdown, who the fuck cares whether it is synth or not. The caveat of course is if I have a really expensive engine. IE the M5 gets synth as the extra cost in this case gives me piece of mind, which of course is contrary to my statement above but the last thing I want to have happen is for me to drive that thing hot with crapped out oil in it. And considering everytime I drive her it is hard it seems worthwhile. i've always run gtx, just because it's readily available everywhere and keeps things simple. "if it ain't broke don't fix it."
  10. Thank you. x100000000
  11. you better! took the g21sf out with the storm lake match barrel, what a blast! i was also finally able to drop some rounds through the same hole with my .308, 3 of 'em actually

  13. the more current you draw the more electrical support your vehicle will need, regardless of the impedance of the subwoofer. your best bet is to match your subwoofers impedance to the output stage of your amplifier, and for most class d subwoofer amps that happens to be at 1ohm. some lower, some higher. http://www.prestonelectronics.com/audio/Impedance.htm here's an explanation of ohm's law, it's a good place to start for your question. remember, google is your friend.

  16. goto bed kids, it's a school night. your fathers don't beat you enough.
  17. the power rangers are at it in the hop again...
  18. i find it interesting how some car manufacturers make small cars with tons of space in them, and some cars that are huge but lack any practical head/leg room.
  19. bleh, people came home from downtown late last night, i had a midterm and a quiz this morning and didn't sleep more than 3 or 4 hours. oh well, that's college for ya.
  20. stole me a t0p! :bigclap:
  21. I have found several compacts that are very fun to drive, especially given their power-to-weight ratio. The only thing I've ever dislike was the torque steer.l Yeah, and me and compacts go hand in hand. Nothing quite like a car you put on instead of getting into. x2 In not as tall I don't this as Sean, but I'm a great big huge and currently really fat guy, and my shoulders are so wide that the B pillar in most vehicles is horrible. And the panel that houses the console etc, on the right of your legs, litteraly will bruise my shin/leg from normal driving. When my truck was down I drove the wifes cobalt for the week and car pooled. I lost 90% of the hair on the right side of my shin and calf. Damn nordic genes makes everything wide. it's strange how some compacts are deceptively large inside. my dad is 6'9"/245lbs and he fits comfortably in the GTI, it's actually quite efficient in it's use of interior space, much roomier than my accord. i must also say i was holding onto a friends' honda pilot (not sure on the year) for a couple days and it had more interior space (especially headroom) than any other vehicle i've ever driven.
  22. congrats dude! X2!!! thanks tom, sean1. four years of full time work and community college finally paid off!
  23. i was admitted to UCSB yesterday, no more lower division classes! :bigclap:

The only thing I've ever dislike was the torque steer.l my dad got a gti autobahn recently that is a lot of fun to drive, it replaced his cooper-s which was also good for some laughs too. fwd isn't always your worst enemy, just most of the time.
