so i guess ill just buy a sundown 3000d for 500 brand new in box never been pulled out

yeah man well anything sounds good to me. i got some money today and ill be getting more next thursday to build my box so hit me up with some dims and maybe a draw out and ill make it come to life.

well no i really havnt because i was always putting the amp on top of the box but i guess i could put it in the middle. and the net volume is 6.28 with that enclosure. how difficult would it be to do that port? and do you think my amp would stay cool under my box?

ok so how does this sound Height:24 Width:42 Depth:16 Port width:6 Port L1 16.5x14.5 and then no L because with the port 6 inches wide the re calc shows that it is 32 hz. And if you put this in the re calc it you have to do the height for depth and depth for height due to the port being on top.

chop your going to like this. i went out to my truck today. sqeezed out a couple of inches. 17 Deep 42 wide 24 Tall But that is max. with the sub being there and the double baffle were prolly going top have to stick with 16. 16.5 is cutting is really close. im afraid my sub is going to hit the center counsel. oh and i could fit the amp under the box but there is only like 1/4 of an inch of cleanance do you think it will over heat?

no the amp cannot be under the passenger seat. i wish i could hide it that well but its a pretty large amp. top[ og the box is like the only option. i might be able to put it under the box because i have a slight dip where i have to put 2x4's to even out. ill go measure that and im lost with the 24.25 for the double baffle.

yeah but if its that tall it will almost be inbetween my seats right at my elobow.

25 is at window line so im going to have my amp looking out the window but oh well.

i also have a 4 inch amp to sit on top. i dont really want eye candy for people walking by. i dont have an alarm only locks. but we could go like 25

16deep 22tall 41 1/2wide that is the biggest i can get with being comfy. i could go taller but i dont wanna go above my window line.

well. when iwas in vegas scott told me it would be fine if i put my 18 in my truck with those dims.. he actually sat in my truck and said yeah you can easily fit your btl in here. and if i were to take the panling out i wont even get 1/2 and inch of more room. ill go measure and see what i can get.

i dont have rear seats. and the interior panel is still in, i didnt feel like tearing the truck apart just in case if i change the setup sometime in the future. And no deadning. i hope soon tho. i plan on bagging my truck so thats going to be a hell of a setback.

no blow thru. figured i would just rock the shit out of the cab . yet to do the big 3 but its extremely easy to do on the v6 vortecs so ill get around to it.
