I'm in the process of planning out another system for my car. I have a Hyundai XG300 with about 5 cubes max to work with. I already have Infinity Kappa Components in the front and rear currently only powered by the H.U. (Alpine CDA-9886). For the sub woofer i have an 18" Fi Audio Bl With all options in a 5cuft box tuned to about 32Hz being pushed with a Kicker ZX1500.1. I Have Knu Konceptz Kolossus 1/0 AWG wire for power/ground with a Red Top under the hood. I have a Rockford 360.2 acting as my current S.S.F. (was going to use it for 4channel but never got around to ordering one). Im planning on selling all of this except the door speakers and redesigning my sub woofer set up. My Budget is around 1 grand right now but can save up a more if necessary. Firs off, I. I listen to mostly rap with a little R&B every now and then but pretty much nothing else. My main was to get my system as loud as possible for daily listening while retaining reasonably (if possible) SQ. I'm not a big fan of realy loud high bass like the first couple notes in "White Girl" By Young Jeezy But the relay deep bass like that in "Bass I Love you" by ? and "Late Night Tip" by Three 6 Mafia. So I'm Thinking 15's or Bigger. I'd prefer to go with a sealed box because of the lack of space and most likely need for a large box, but ported might be better in my situation. My question are 1) Which Subs should i go with 2) What sizes 3) How Many 4) Ported Or Sealed (Tuning Freq. If Ported) 5) What Amp to Power Them I'm looking into going with a sundown amp but don't want to decide until i pick my subs. Thanks in Advance & For Taking Time to Read

I've noticed that too, i tried 4 different computers earlier and its the same deal. Only the Bl page doesn't pop up.

I just noticed something similar to that happen to me about two days ago.. My subs (L5 15s) sound like there's something lose back there, like paper or something flapping around. The cone seems fine, I haven't pulled them out the box yet but what do you guys think that could be.

Those are 18's, try fisher customs or pound that sound

A Fully loaded BL 15 would be better

I have a question similar to the one in this tread. What is the benefit of getting a Kinetic Power Cell over just a regular Optima Yellow Top as secondary batteries? Wouldn't the Yellow top be better in daily enviorment because of how it was designed to drain all the way down and charge back up without being damaged? Shouldn't that come in better use for those long bass notes? sorry if it seems a little cluttered.

he is right only options u have with 2 dual2 woofers is .5 ohm, 2 & 8.. dual 1s are what you want but about that hu thing id check to see if scosche makes some kind of adapter that integrates your after market hu and keeps functions on steering wheel. could be a bit spendy but if its that important then that's what you want to do.

It is a problem with getting it to go in. How would I go about doing that though? Build the Bottom and walls then put the top on? Or Putting one wall on the bottom and one on the top and going from there? Or is there a better way? But if that fails would a 15 hooked up the right way yeald the same result

From the looks of it i won't be able to fit an 18 in my trunk easily at all..the box would just be too big..unless anyone has an idea on how to go about building one. I might have to settle for one BTL 15, or re audio MX 15.. if properly hooked up then (SPL wise) can you make a btl 15 or MX 15 as loud or louder than a properly hooked up bl 18 in a daily listening environment?

i blew the R's because i had em hooked up to a t1500d..but enclosure wise should i just build the box inside the car or how should i go about doing that. I was barely able to squeeze the box for my L5's in

That's why i am asking is because i didn't want to blow any thing .( like my type r 12's 3 times) And would it just be easier to get the Q and wire it down some and get roughly 750-800 something watts
