I am running 2 Ga wire atm, and my dad use to own a audio store so he is going to help me with building the box. I'm thinking 22" H, 34" W, 25" D with 1" MDF will do fine.

I'm not sure but i think a decent optima battery will cost you over 200$. A yellow top for me that cranks like 73 amps/h runs for like 170, replace your current battery there and knock off 10 bucks.
