  1. Sealed Qtc of .7 happens at 10cuft. Ported.....you don't want to know....LOL Logo? If someone wants to design something I can stop by my local graphics shop and see what it would cost to cut some of them out.
  2. Get the Memphis Sync8's in kicks in my car. Airsaw = fun
  3. How attached are you to all of your vehicle's metal?? LOL.....
  4. You all didn't know I was part chinese

  10. I love the Christmas claymation movies......Last night I rocked a little "The Year Without A Santa Clauss" on ABC family.
  11. Except now it'll have to wait till spring Damn winter........
  12. I sooooooo want to build one of those.
  13. Heh....well, I actually did a comparison of the 18" SSA and the 15" Rl-s in a PM to hayden without even realizing he was actually considering both I was basing it solely off of recommended enclosure size. But, here's how they matched up in my eyes: "(regarding the SSA): For a Q of .7 it would require a 10cuft enclosure. Large? You bet ya. But sealed enclosures weren't my intention with this woofer. You could go smaller on the enclosure size...but that'll raise the Qtc. However, to put that into perspective......the 15" Rl-s also has a recommended enclosure size of 10cuft. The "TeamSSA" woofer has nearly identical linear displacement as the 15" Rl-s, but in that 10cuft enclosure the SSA would have a much lower Qtc. It's also almost 12db more efficient, and has atleast half the inductance of the Rl-s. Not to mention it's almost half the price aswell. This ofcourse all assuming the prototype matches up to the T/S parameters I was given."
  14. Well, I wanted to give it a day or two to get in any more questions if there were any......so, I'm going to e-mail Adire tommorrow with the recent question you guys have had and see what they say back
  15. Somewhere 'round there, yes. Like I said....$250/each was the estimated cost given to me. Would be after the final design is complete.....cosmetically and such. Around the time the prototype is being built at the latest I'd presume. Remember.....I'm somewhat new at this whole custom driver ordering thing....so some of the finer details are still in the works/need ironed out When we get close to the minimum order quantity.....in the 10-11 drivers range. I'll probably request half of the estimated cost as a downpayment...which will be around $165. And if you are paying by paypal, I would request you include paypal fees in the paymet. If you want to avoid paypal charges, Money Order and snail mail works for me. Address (for both) will be provided when the time draws nearer. Will do.
  16. It it gets people to buy them Not that I'm aware of.....though HA/T is not my particular area of expertise
  17. BTW.....I think we may need to toss this up on a few other forums to generate some more interest. Where all would you guys recommend? SIN? ECA? DIYmobileaudio?
  18. Doubtful. TC is the one who mainly uses those. I presume aswell, though I'll have to get back with you for a definite answer. Again, nothing exotic. I'd *presume* simple pressed paper w/ foam surround akin to the Brahma's.....but again, I'll have to get back with you.
  19. As in....cone and surround material?
  20. A little J/K....It's cool meng.
  21. Okay....right now looks like we have: Squeak - 1 Tirefryr - 2 UCP - 1 Jntar - 1 haydenlake - 1 (possibly) That puts us half way there
  22. So....uh.....was that a yes you're in, or a no you're not ??
  23. I couldn't tell you off hand.
