  5. I try to go with a stretcher material but this is all walls work had that was lightweight n stretched. I have worked with it before but your right it soaks up resin. I have to open up the speaker rings and coat the inside as well just as a precaution I take it as a good thing?
  6. This tipped worked. I bought a lil heating/spotlight lamp and with the temperature being around 40 this morning I was able to glass and the stuff has been curing all day. Going to need more resin though for sure

  11. thanks. i wish i could do the fast forward button on this and be done with this project already fiberglass for me is like getting a tattoo....once you do it you cant stop. lol. im trying to knock this one out so i can start on my envoy again.

  13. Thanks I just need the weather to warm up here so I can glass. I probably won't touch the box til this weekend when the weather gets warmer. Was going to mess with it tonight but high is ok y 40 something n temps tonight will be near 25....not good for glass work lol.

  15. well here is a build for my wife's 07 nissan xterra.... not much done so far but figured i start one. onto the goods hu: kenwood ddx370 substage: 2 12" AQ sdc2.5 d4 sub amp: MB Quart Onyx 1600.1 front stage: 6.5" cadence momentum series comps rear stage: 6.5" cadence momentum 2 way coax speaker amp: MB Quart Onyx 80.4 wiring: AudioTechnix 0 ga wiring kit box: around 4.75 cubes ported(not sure on the port size or where i want to tune it... opened to suggestions.) on to the pics

  19. I went with the duralast gold series for both my trucks. I use to run the optima red tops but the duralast gold had better CCAs than the red top and better reserve minutes as well. lets see for the xterra the duralast gold does 750 cca's compared to 720 cca's on the red top optima and the reserved minutes is 130 compared to the 90 on the red top. also with the xterra I don't have the big 3 or upgraded alt just the gold series battery and when there was bass in there the truck didn't drop below 14v. with the next system that's in the works I plan on upgrading the wiring from 4 to 0 gauage and do the big 3 and see what happens to the volts.
