I suggest putting pieces of tape over that bright ass blue light and that flashing red light. Just use your 5 senses.. Unless you listen to one song repeatedly then that stupid little light will drive u nuts.Edit.. Except taste.. Unless you get down like that. Lol

If things on here didnt work out between him and SSA thats one thing but from what I saw he did nothing on here but try his best to explain every detail of his subs, kippel results, graphs, etc and was extremely helpful to anyone. More so than anyone else I have seen, he even would help design enclosures for his customers. I've heard good things about dss as well as bad. The sale he has now on ethos $325 shipped is hard to pass up.. I got 2 12s coming as well should be 2 or 3 weeks.What kind of bad things have you heard?Bad glue on spiders.. Someone inverted 15s and cracked the baskets. Other problems from way too much power that is irrelevant. No complaints from rated normal use.. What day did u order?

that is for an aftermarket radio, the stock unit does not have a "park brake wire". The info is fed to the radio via data Yeah i went ahead and decided to try a lockpick.

I seen that.. I thought that someone on here may have a trick or something i haven't heard or thought of.. I was thinking maybe instead of useing the the parking brake maybe they used the transmission or a speed sensor? I would try the ground wire but it only plays while the truck is in park with the break on or off..

Do you guys know how i can simply bypass the safety feature for the dvd so it will play while driving ? On most units you just geound the parking brake wire but from what I've read online this wont work? Its the factory dvd nav system. Any help would be great. Thanks

The wait time for me was longer than normal because of the tax season when i ordered. Damn near drove me crazy waiting and i thought aboit cancelling my order several times. I'm really glad i didn't. Hands down the zcon is the best subwoofer I've ever owned. I wouldn't think twice about waiting for one now if i wanted one. Like mentioned above work on your box and your build while you wait. You won't regret it.

What made you go with dss? What do you like about them vs other subs you've had?

I can say from experience that zcons are nasty and can take a beating. I cant compare the two though.

My car is exactly the same way. I just said hell with it and put subs and port facing backwards. Shit slams.. Turn it around with out sealing it off.. Sounds like a 10 inch walmart kicker in a sealed box.

Nah it doesn't have one. So I'm good. Thats why i was asking incase there was a different reason you changed your box.

For the old box you had. You said the motors were right above the port? Like blocking the port? Or just covering the back of the sub? What kind of issues would that cause?
