ok so now I need some advice fellas on the front stage of my vehicle... amps and mids/highs.. so far I got my eye on some nendo pwx 6.5s but swift said they are awful. but the ones ive heard sounded good to me.. but I have nothing else good to compare too.. never really had any good highs or mids mainly walmart pioneer lol.. so help me out.. Im not going for insane sq. I just need something that can keep up with the bass very well and still sound pretty decent.

The sub has to be assembled first. Once the slug is magnetized there's no way to build the motor. As far as the basket and soft parts are concerned, if there's room for the motor to fit in the machine with those parts attached I can't imagine how it would make a difference with them being attached. Seems like I remember Nick saying they're completely built when they get magnetized because if they magnetized them at any point before they're built they'd have major issues with metal shavings and such getting all over them. from what little ive seen of those machines they arent near the yoke building process it just simply magnetizes the magnets before being put into the yoke. im not 100% on this because I work in die cast and never on the yoke line.. but im willing to ask the people there if I could do such a thi g if the guy wants to ship or bring me the sub.. I do know they put the magnets in metal trays with padding so I dont think the sub as a whole would be any kind of a issue in there..

try changing your enclosure I think my buddy is on his 6th different box for his.

check Into crescendo pwx for your front.. I think im going with those.. ive never used them but frogcase2002s sound pretty damn good mixed with some aq tweets.That is a horrible suggestion. Just pucking horrible, lolcmon now its not that bad.. im ordering some tomorrow and they sound pretty damn good if you ask me.

im no expert on this topic but the company I work for has a machine that they put magnets in that arent magnetic and after a couple hours they are.. we build alternators and starters.. I believe those machines are on the yoke line.. there are tons of signs around that area that says not to be there if you have a pacemaker... but anyway I can ask if I can put your magnets In there if you want? like I say im no expert but thought id offer

Yes, the most likely culprit is not having the SSF set properly. You can't compare this experience to one you had with a completely different setup, you just can't. There are too many variables, too many differences that play a part in what may or may not happen with one setup over another. I actually used the method that you said to that gary church quoted of yours.. I just figured id ask.. im by no means a expert or no half as much as you guys.. hell until about a year ago I didnt use batteries or h/o alts. I just figured my shit was as loud as I can get it.. untill I met casey and that dude that owns phantom sounds I didnt even no what a real system sounded like lol.. but im learning more and more from you guys everyday and when I post my build log I really hope I can get some real good advice..

you guys sure it was the ssf that was the problem? I had mine set on 20 below tuning frequency on a pair of american bass xfls 12s on a aq2200 and the never smelled or got hot and they got pretty low and pretty loud with no clipping or distortion and I ran them that way for at least a year.. if set them 5 or so below tuning then they just wouldnt do what I wanted. but I did have them in a 5.5 cube box so idk if that had any effect. ive also heard some bad things about certain dc subs from local people.

im not sure where you can look but if that is absolutely needed info then I personally would start wrenchin. im going with singer I like his style of customer service.. I asked him why should I choose your product over any others and he gave a great response.. I asked the other 2 companies the same question and got mediocre responses..
