  1. Try re-locating your radio ground away from the factory ground.
  2. Here is a great site on how to properly deaden your vehicle! http://www.sounddeadenershowdown.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi A good read even if you are not able to purchase at the moment.
  3. the enclosure its in now is 6 ft at 27.5 they recommend 6-10 @28 Could you provide pics of your exsisting setup?
  4. Only reason we discourage them from the "Q" is they try and put a ton of power to them and try to achieve to much SPL from a woofer designed for SQ.
  5. First off if you have the "Q's" build them in a proper box to Fi specs! Your Alpine HU will be more than enough for TA and no need for the Line Driver as the HU is 5 volt already iirmc.
  6. Might want to see what size your factory alt is and then go from there. Could start with an S3400 if it fits under the hood and as Duran said 2-3 D3100 in back!
  7. Ok forget about buying the "Q"...Look into the "BL" or even the "BTL". Forget about adding all those differen't size woofers.....Waste of time and money as you will have nothing but cancellation issues.
  8. Upgrade that 4 gauge to at least 1 run of 1/0 power and 1/0 ground! Look into doing the "Big 3" upgrade. Here are a couple helpful links to get you started .... How To: Set your Amplifier Gain - SSA Car Audio Forum THE BIG 3 - SSA Car Audio Forum Read through these and if you have any questions....ASK!
  9. no, i cant fit another amp, my amps are soundstream tarantulas with 2 15" juggernauts . just looking for power options , thanks He said another alternator! What type of vehichle?
  10. Looks like they turned out good!
  11. Looking good! Keep up the good work!
  12. would a piece of drywall work also? Nope! (I meant other as in wood)
  13. Piece of wood (mdf) or other and attatch it to your door and mount your speaker to that. Seal around the baffle and all open holes in your door.
  14. Looking good!
  15. ^^^^ Not the most accurate enclosure design.
  16. Nothing out of the ordinary other than it's in the design and desired tuning frequency.
  17. Confucius say post pics!
  18. Fire away!
  19. My thoughts exactly, that's why I have never used them. I just posted them up as that is what I think the OP is trying to describe.
  20. Couldn't tell you! Never used them personally.
  21. I use Q-Logics and always make a new mounting ring to attatch from behind to reinforce where the mid mounts and then I add some scrap deadening to help add mass as M5 was stating.
  22. They go behind the speaker! Like a small enclosure or dust and water protector. They are made of closed cell foam.
  23. To be honest not much at all. Would hardly change a thing.
  24. Are you looking for this?
  25. Doesn't restrict airflow imo. Just need to account for it's displacement.
