This one is a big case 370 ... with the idle beast 270. I have a "wired clamp" that rides up front, and helps me out. If i roll down, or vent/crack a door, ill see a more... and at around 1300 rev. added a simple cable to keep my revs locked when demoing... i meter at idle. Speaking of which.. i dumped the SPL labs meter (which worked fine for what i was doing at the time) and nabbed a magnum. man i need to come here more often. Also, for those that dont know, these are 4 year SP4's.. SPACED spider... OEM leads.... Guess im doing something wrong?? Not burning up shit?

First look at a good quality brand, and then get the biggest alternator possible. (I know you mean quality alternator, but some people might think bigger is better disregarding quality) And the "BIGGEST" isnt always the best. Sure it will do some amps at 2k, but, dick at idle. Id rather have something else. Something that can "do it all". Even more with the power he has/had. Hell,.. a nice 250 would suite him JUST fine. You dont need a 370 whatever. Just me. (hell that alt would cost more than his entire build)

Even with a 180A alt you're going to need more battery than 70AH, in my experience 1 group 31 per 2500w, so you're going to need at least 2. and if you read the post again, I'm getting another battery (soon approximately next week but instead of helping you just rather put people down! come on homie When did i put anyone down?

Did you read his 11 other posts that he only has bank (edit, i mean MONEY here) for the alt he mentioned? Do you see him running a audio pipe amp? Im not a kid and i suggested the 180 singer EDIT- or you can go buy the 800$ dc alts everyone else suggested. Remember YOU said the singer alt, not me. If your not wired low, and your seeing that big of a drop, then something else is up Nice to meet you again.

Layton bro. Ive been a audio nut ever sense i young. Would mow lawns all summer to keep my Auto Sound & Security, and Car Stero Review mags coming to my house. Grew up in a VERY small town. Only way i could get a look at the outside world. Utah is behind in pretty much everything, lol. Car audio no exception. VERY few shows/comps. And maybe a handful of shops that know whats up.
