hey should i use resin inside the box?? cant wait to put my Ethos in the box and hear them!!! all i need to do is mount batterys and bass amp.. and mount subs in box

What are you using to post pics? dont kno what u mean bud? i have the pics on my laptop then i use the messager on this site to upload them and post.. i got one pic to work now it says upload failed.. when i go to the bottom there is a button that says attach file.. then choose file.... i hit that then it goes to my pics.. then i click the pic i want .. then there is a button that says attach this file.. i hit that and it says upload failed

well every things ready now! JS ultimate 200 amp alternator... die hard platinum under hood.. sky high big 3 kit.. 0 gauge OFC... sky high 0 gauge OFC amp kit kenwood 6 1/2's in front doors. two 6x9's back pioneer's.. with a alpine 4 channel hooked to them... just got my box for my DSS Ethos 12's!! i cant wait to get them!!!! box is made from baltic birch.. 3.05 cubes... tuned to 32.3 HZ.. double baffle... 45's... and 4 binding posts... bass amp is the ampere audio 3,800.1D... o and deck is a pioneer also.. with two blockshakers group 31's for in trunk... i have the alt hooked up... big 3 done.. amp wires ran and rca's.. decks in.. door speakers are in.. 4 channels in.. only thing is get subs mount them in box and hook up bass amp and batterys in trunk!!! cant wait

i just picked up a die hard plat for under hood few weeks ago.. got it at sears.. i dont have any amps hooked up yet tho still waiting on my box for my ethos and the ethos to come in then i can begin the install.. got the big 3 and got my H/O alternator installed so far

just got the big 3 done!! alternator is installed.. next need to run main power and rca's.. pick my box up from my boy in a week or so and wire my batterys in my trunk.... subs are almost here :)

thanks boss! i took my car to an audio shop near me and the guy was surprised how thick one of my stock wires was.. ill just have to trim the wire a bit to get it in..

Please stop and read up some more before attempting to do anything yourself it will only cause you trouble, sounds like your friend doesn't know that much if he can't easily answer this question. thanks!

ok so my system is almost ready to install just waiting on my ethos to come and i just paid to have my box made which should be done by the first week of oct .. im trying to do the big 3 with a friend me a me and him have never done one b4.. he knos more them me about car audio stuffs so we should be good.. i just went and got some battery terminals at the car audio place in town.. each terminal has two 0 gauge inputs and two 8 gauge inputs it looks like..my battery is a die hard platinum.. it has reg posts like my stock battery had.. my termeinals go rite over the posts.. so what do i do with the stock wires that have that rings on the end? do i cut off that metal ring and put the stock wires in the two smaller holds in my battery terminals? i just want to make sure i can use these battery terminals to do a big 3 and run my main amp power wire with out problems

i just installed my H/O alt gonna do big 3 tomarrow.. i owe my box builder 160$ more and thats it! few more weeks till my Ethos come man it been a stressful few months trying to get evertthing ready.. but im getting it done is it october yet!!

hey im also getting two 12 ethos in oct and this is what i have so far.. this is my first real setup also.. im also geting a Js ultimate 200 amp alt.. should be in this week i just got a die hard platimum battery for under my hood... and for the trunk i have 2 group 31 blockshakers batterys.. my amp is a Ampere audio 3,800.1D.. im hoping that the 200 amp alt the die hard plat under hood and the 2 group 31's in trunk will be ok... o and for wire i have sky high 1/0 OFC. and also 1/0 ofc big 3 kit.. gonna need more wire for the batterys in back tho..this is all going in a 1998 honda accord lx.. cant wait to see how your build comes out!

well October is coming up fast!! and i have everything but my H/O alt which should be here in a week or so and still need to have a box made.. o and need to get an alarm installed.. im soo amped up for this system man u have no idea! i have always wanted a decent setup and its alomost here.. rite now im only running stock 6 1/2's and alpine 6x9's in back.. i need some bass back! want to thank evryone for awnswering my questions i really appreciate that.. there are some good people on this site.. and a HUGE thanks to Quentin for helping me out i kno i can be a pain in the ass sometimes not to much longer and ill be reppin my DSS Ethos!!

yea u are rite i looked today and it looks crazy easy.. i think ill just do it my self and save the doe i picked up a die hard plat agm for under my hood today and a new deck.. and 200 amp alt.. only thing left is get box built and wait for the ethos!!!!

have not called around yet.. i just figured someone on here could give me a clue on how much it may cost
