Might be a dumb question, but what are you going to do with those 18" BL's?

Anyone and everyone that wants to come and check out the rides, people, and audio equipment from your "Neighbooring Texan" come and meet with us! This is an open "Event" meaning we are totally open to suggestions in order to help out with the meet. It will be in the Central Texas area.....Because last time we had more than a few arrive from HOUSTON! I know a couple of you guys are from west Texas and a few are from San Antonio and Dallas. So somewhere Central would be great, and if BigJons guy with the shop is down with the meet at his place it sounds like a steal deal. So start the posting of when your available. BTW- It would be nice to hold it between middle to late October, so keep that in mind. Post your free schedule

Everyone!.........Whats ups? I think it might be time for round 2. Now that I have a new ride and new subs and a new amp I think I am ready....Edward has got a total new line of equipment too! If you guys are ready for another meet just post up a reasonable time and date. I was thinking around the month of October too, just because I wanna go compete in Corpus and would like to TL first and wanna see some more peeps. So start postin on the new Texas meet post!

I couldn't believe it.....he didn't even let me pay him for the shipping, now thats why Im a proud to be a part of SSA. True Rodney, for people with 1 not to mention 2 MT's your gonna need some major electrical upgrades.....0 guage runs, bats or bat caps, good rca's, good head unit, good voltage, and GOOD BOX! Not trying to make you sell them but if you do some research and find out some info about these subs then selling them might be a key priority in the future....I say buy a FI BTL 12 and build a good box and see how much better you can tweek it, that way you and your bro can duke it out and see who is the better basshead.... but thats my 2 cents. Thanks BigJon, so you could problably get one at fry's then right? Fry's has got everything.....They gotta have a knob that takes a phone cord, you got one Jon?

Does the SAZ-3000 accept a hifonics remote gain knob cord? If not then where can I get one? any place like Fry's or radio shack have them? or adapters?

Anyone know where and when the next Texas competitions are? Please post up some helpful info or websites to visist. Im trying to start entering some comps, any help will help thanks.

2x4 holds up just fine, but almost (almost) no differnece between dow bars...just airflow Looks good Edgar, what did you do to make those things start moving....you were doubting the box for a little while but I hope not anymore! haha

No date set yet, a few of the guys are going to the Austin Heatwave and that will be another meet for a few of us. I think we will pencil in a date around september or october just to give the heat time to slow down. So around sept. or Oct. sounds good enough to me.

Maybe the next meet should be on a Sunday so that the local stores won't b!tch. Next time, there is always next time for improvement. RE makes great subs, both SQ and SPL options it seems for me with my SX's. I just picked up a SE 15" for a friend, will let you know what the difference is when we plug it in.

Yes, 11 am is the plan...of course we will wait till 12 or so for all the late comers then go to lunch and then to Jon's friends shop for some bass!

Oh Edgar, a cat. bat would be perfect to keep your power you have right now, I got a marine but saw that my dad uses those huge batterys in his 18 wheelers. and in the dozer we have has 2 of those 8ds in them!

You'll be in for a real treat with some Texas sized power! lol Edgar like Jon says, you got something going on with your electrical, but we can trouble shoot it and problably fix if it isn't something to big. It ain't the boxes fault my friend, just wait till Saturday

You should come anyway, even if there is alot of people...and how would we know if a lot of people come when we get down there with no internet. Edgar why are your bls not moving? The box shouldn't be the issue.... I am thinking you wired yours subs to a 2 or even a 4 ohm load then. The box deffinetly isn't the problem, but I am bringing a drill and some bits so we can take subs out of boxes if needed!
