I know this is going to sound bad but we tried an ameican bass dx 10 in a sealed box and it was not bad but then we ported it and in a 1.5 cubic foot box stuffed to make it react like it was in a 2 cubic foot box and gained 10 db haha. And that was with two 2 inch ports and massive turbulance at 300 rms tuned to like 45 hz usermom199599 title.... american bass dx 10 single 10 dx 135.7 db (that would be a 135.2 on our termlab) 300 rms restricted port

I had my box for a hds210 tuned to 40 hz for my jeep liberty. I am in about the same range. If you are only going to run 1000 rms. I don't think you will hear the difference between them. Thanks

I also have a pair of the discountinued sd2.0 10's brand new still in the box. I might throw them in a box and see what they do for the heck of it.

I saw someone has reconed the hds315 so thats good. Im thinking thats what I will probably go with because the price is just a bit more than I like for the hd3 but i know they slam.

Which would be a better choice on that power? Also I want to be able to recone either speaker can they both be reconed?
