  1. So I've been BEATING on the Evil ALL day!! Even after metering. 149.35 was my highest. Just got home and was metered earlier around 12pm. So for 8 HOURS, I've been giving her all I got. Grant it, not straight hours, but pretty damn close. On mobile but will update here in a few hours at work pc.
  2. Um. My advice would be to sell everything. And save up every dollar until you have a better understanding.
  3. And this is a good thing how? OP, please disregard this useless information and never run your amp below 9 volts. Smh
  4. Thanks Kyle! Yeah for sure it is. The 200x4 boss amp then the 340x6 zed amp. The zed amp blew off one of the center cone thingy and rip the surround on another. But both most likely my fault lol. Hell, they kept playing and I didn't noticed till I replaced them.
  5. I know where you're getting at
  6. also forgot to mention, all that I'm hearing, is first impression, so not really a fair judgement or review can be made just yet. Got to remember I had the zcon for over a year, and a 5500 on it for the most of that time, where I've only spent roughly 45 mins today skimming through songs.
  7. So far I'm pretty exicted and pleased. Its definately a different sound than before. The lower notes are for sure a lot more pronounce, and I feel it needs more power. The higher notes don't seem as "punchy" as the zcon did. Everything is much more smoother now. I definately have to do some more tuning. Things left to do is to finish the cosmetics of the box, and install the 2nd false floor. Also need to grab some more wire so that I can reposisiton the amps and such. But yeah, I for sure for sure need to step up my electrical now. It is seriously taking all that I can give to it. I have a few ideas in my head.
  8. I thought you was gonna just stretch the top top of the box out with some thick mdf? Then like others said, shoot up some foam for the area between the wood and the actually roof.
  9. I really liked them man, they got really loud and sounded good as well! Come on, you can't leave us hanging like that... hehe.
  10. its playing
  11. Its finished! Box designed by JWH Enclosures and built by Swift Videos to follow soon.
  12. Nice video Swift!
  13. Damn, what a update!!
  14. Ugggggh the suspense!!! Gonna have a closet by time this thing is put together!
  15. Some pictures from Swift's progress. This picture below trips me out, keep in mind, NO TABLE SAW
  16. Did not mean to offend you sir, not at all, or provide unuseful information. If you notice what I posted, ALL are fundamentals in regards to car audio that ANY car enthusiasts should know the basics to. Especially for one who has 20+ years of experience and one that has been previously sponsered by two major companies. The questions you asked are by no means "stupid questions", or ones that concerns ANY products. Again, it is the basics of understandings that I question someone of your caliber should have an understanding of. Looking back at previous threads you have created, they ALL are very "newbie" questions for the lack of better terms. Besides that, yes, follow suggestions previously advised.
  17. do I need a battery isolator etc.?I wouldn't bother with it.
  18. I'm 700 miles from home. You're gonna have to wait about another week. FMMFGDL
  19. Wow, to have been sponsered by MTX and Soundstream, you really do create some questionable threads in regards to anything car audio related. Also, you seem to make a lot of mispellings, as well as a lot of misunderstandings of the basics in regards to competing, especially for somebody that has been doing for as long as you have. I understand you've stated that you have been out of the game for some time, but fuse ratings and such still obtains the same technology as it do before if I'm not mistaken.
