Thanks! More updates to come for sure They are a bit larger than normal, but atleast with car speaker adapters you have the option to dremel an opening where as these POS is just cheap plastic and aren't no where near user friendly. Thanks for the kind words Thanks Stefan, yeah, I like em, will be upgrading these as well, but curious to know how these will sound once sub is installed. Thanks I like them a lot. Especially with good audio recordings and DVDs. Sound really clean and loud to say the least lol, especially once I took the time to tune the amp. Very pleased plus the price was a bonus.

Just a quick look at some our work
i do, but with our limited staff and current business it is a little hard to find time to get the pics up. We are still working on the website as well, so hopefully very very soon it will be fully live and have a large amount of current and old photos of our work. Sounds great. Can't wait

Welcome to the IHoP
I remember seeing somewhere that new Garmin units come with lifetime maps updates for free too. If that's still the case it's worth looking into. A lil tidbit on those Garmins... They have been caught twice for selling your info to local authorities for setting up speed traps

So I've decided to finally start this build after procastinating and having some free time here at work. Equipment list is as follows: Pioneer AVH-4300DVD Boss REV-655 (Mids/High) AQ1200D (Sub) IA I series Coaxial (rear) IA I series Components (front) 10" SSA Icon D2 DC Creations Enclosure (Coming Soon) 47 Feet of Welding cable (Awaiting Shipment) 3 15 Feet Monoprice RCA's 100 Feet of 12 gauge Monoprice Speaker Wire This is a on going project that would soon lead to for some more serious output, but this will get me through till then. I will keep my plannings under wrap to keep the suspense and will reveal whatever shows up at the door . But for now, I will show pics! Sorry for so many, I tend to be a camera whore lol The following pictures you can see how I threw everything in, and after a few days, I began to clean it up. And thats where I am as of this moment, again, sorry for so many pictures lol, all was taken with my Kyocera Echoe. Right now, my new cable is in the mail, 15 pounds worth lol. And enclosure is being designed by DC Creations, so just waiting on those two things at this moment. But for a quick review of where everything stands right now, watching Transformers in here sounds fucking amazing. Once I get the sub in there, it will definately be better than going to the movie theatre for sure. It gets so loud in here now and I'm glad I can finally hear the words with minimal distoration at high levels. I would like to thank edouble and Sean DeYoung for their amazing contribution On a side note: Heres me slaving 12 hour shifts at work KITTY!!

I love my rev665!!!- Two 15' Dcon vs One 15' Icon
Grammar?- Two 15' Dcon vs One 15' Icon
I would be getting the custom enclosure and let my friend build it for me. I'd still be using a 1500watt audiopipe amp. Is that to much? As long as you have enough space for a proper enclosure, your good. Headroom is your friend, you will be gaining down the amplifier, so no it won't be too much power. Dcons are always overlooked because their price point, but don't let that sway you away, they sound great, and with that much cone area, they should still get excessively loud. I tried explaining Stef, I really did- Linkipedia
Hello, I decided to make a thread that will list any useful links that I may have come across and would like to share, it can be a place for all useful and audio related links that other members may find helpful and useful. So please add, the more the better. Well I liked the vid Do you have any idea in this demo how much power the Zcon was seeing? I'm not sure what your voltage was at or how much power that amp gives at w/e voltage you may be seeing while giving this demo.- Berry doin 2Hz and even 1Hz
Not nice- Hello
- 2 SSA ZCON 18"s in a PT Cruiser. Epic flex and hairtrick.
It's because the port is so large, it's very efficient. Most people, when they do "big port" do them 100% wrong. So a lot of people think ALL big ports are peaky, only play high notes, and sound bad. When all this is far from the truth. Ok thanks for the explanation, so Large Port = More efficient at a higher tune? Its more efficient. Period. Gotcha, sorry, was just trying to get a better understanding. Thanks for the help- 2 SSA ZCON 18"s in a PT Cruiser. Epic flex and hairtrick.
