  8. Most events are in Nashville and Knoxville.
  9. I highly suggest adding a second xp3000
  10. Uhggh, just did a full respond and internet crapped out. Ok, basically, to maintain a 14.4 voltage, you will have to supply the exact amperage that your amplifier, and the rest of your vehicle, is drawing. This is unrealistic for about 97.3% of ppl. As this will require multiple alternators. Especially just for 3500 watts. But to play your system in the safe voltage range, then reserve is key. Another reason while why it is extremely difficult, is because lets say your 3500 amp is drawing 300 amps and you have 3 270amp alternator, there is still going to be that latency, (voltage drop) because the draw (short burst of energy) happens much faster than the alternators are capable of reacting to.
  11. Yeah, I do see a lot of beauty marks... That's unfortunate. None which will affect the way it will sound though.
  12. Sounds like you're on par honestly. If you'd like to improve it, obviously you can add more batteries, more alternators, and more wiring. But for a 3500, I would use at least two of those xp3000s. And use 2/0 welding cable for your power and grounds. If you wanted to improve, another thing you could do your big three. Also with the rear battery, you could run a direct cable from the negative of your battery to a grounding location near the alternator, (the bolt that the alt is mounted to). But honestly, you notice .7 volt difference, MAYBE a full volt or 1.5.
  13. Photobucket. So you're disappointed in the looks of the sub, not the way it performs? Have you listened to it? What are your thoughts on it's performance? Pics of the installation?
  14. Plz upload a product picture along with your name. Thank you sir.
  15. If you'd like to see his product in action, check the link above.
  16. So it's "suppose" to be used in conjunction with a thermal rating? The thermal rating of what exactly? I'm just trying to get an clear understanding when a driver has an Rms rating because Root Mean AND the T/s RMS definitions both do not mention anything in regards to thermal?
  17. How do I find the RMS definition that you are referring to? Is there a link you can provide so I can do more research on the matter.
  18. Ohh, how many RMS are there Honda? How do I differentiate the two?
  19. "Rms: [N*s/m] The losses due to the suspension" -thielesmall.com
  20. "Rms: Units are not usually given for this parameter, but it is in mechanical 'ohms'. Rms is a measurement of the losses, or damping, in a driver's suspension and moving system. It is the main factor in determining Qms. Rms is influenced by suspension topology, materials, and by the voice coil former (bobbin) material." I see no mention of thermal rating.
