  1. For reference, my 10" aero that is flared, the OD is 15.5"
  2. Iirc, before you place your order, it states 21 business days. Did you see this message?
  3. 4 weeks
  4. Great question.
  5. With my experience with the icon, my enclosure was 4.5 tuned to 32hz, my amplifier for that setup was an AQ1200, and it never felt stressed from that power, like I said, I think a 2k amp would be perfect, because you don't have to set the gain high, plus you will have headroom and will be easier on the electrical.I can agree with this.I'm at .5 ohms now,if I go full tilt its pretty hard on my electrical.but I don't do that very often.demo only.but it will start to cut in an out. This is not good at all. You might want to invest in your electrical instead of more equipment, and check your ground connection. This means your voltage is dropping down into the 11 volts range.
  6. I got the nendo bc2000 powering two 12's now.I wasn't paying any mind when ordering the icons I got the dual 2's instead of 1's.its pretty hard on my electrical which is still stock for now, thinkin of chnging amps soonDon't switch amps, just buy another bc2000, run each sub to it's own amp and run at 1 ohm. That's what I would do for sure. For that much power, I would try to fit two d3100s. That should keep you in good shape.will they handle that much over rated power?but again the video I watch on youtube that I mentioned above,I think he used a mtx te4000dJust because the amp says 2000 on it, doesn't mean you have to use all 2000 watts. I prefer it this way too because now you don't have to fully power the amp to give the sub Rms power.
  7. I would also try to increase your internal volume as well.
  8. Not enough port area for those. For a zcon, I would use at least 60cuin of port. With a single 8", it'll play yes, but won't be optimal.

  11. Can you give more details? Lol. What size are they, what power do you have, what vehicle, cmon, help us help you...
  12. I would pair a 2000 watt amp with the icon. Not much more than that tho.
  13. Lol doesn't work

    Looks damn good
  18. Awesume video!Thanks!!
  19. These are kind rough, because I actually designed this one lmao 10.33 gross 8.3 net aero takes up a cube at 22" long, (10"aero) so the sub is seeing about 7cubes net. Best so far is a 147.x on the dash.
  20. It is about the box. The way the driver will perform in any environment can be visualized via a software program with the t/s pararmeters and/or real world testing. These drivers are realitivlely new so, I doubt you will get too many responses.
  21. That's what I've been looking for myself. The biggest advantage I've noticed here, is that I pretty much get the same output, but I've saved LOTS of space. haha. I would say depending on cost for the flare that you would get, would determine wether or not to go this route. The 2 major points that would be a deciding factor when chosing what type of port to utilize would be: A) Is this a burp box B) Are there space restraints Aero ports in the SPL environment seem to be dominant, and as stated before, I've saved space. To answer your initial question, I mean, to the hear, no sound difference, at least immediately. As I continue to refresh through my library of music, then maybe I can have a more firm response.
  22. I gotta figure out what else I can feed it! For those wondering, it's doing about 147.x on the dash now.
