  1. Recone. I tried "fixing" it with the Evil. Didn't work lol.
  2. So by saying after seeing a few pictures, you literally mean only two, both from the same person, lol. Either he is the only person to have bouthen foad leads from fi, or no one else is burning them up but this guy. Since the foad design change, I have personally not seen another case.
  3. I can't believe it's december already, geesh!
  4. Yeah, you sould be able to hit 155, most likely will have to come from the kick panel though. now if you added an second 8k on 4 ethos, that'd be nice! good video bro
  5. I'd say safely, something like an BC5500 at 1 ohm, MAYbe 1/2 ohm. You probably could burp an 8k amp though.
  6. Hey, be careful with this recone ok. It has already been broughton attention to Mark from Zack when we were all at world finals. Basically, the spiders seem to be shorter. As you can see. So when under high excusurion, the leads and touch the basket which could cause a short. just an heads up.
  7. The only two images I could find in google? Can you please share the other images you found?
  8. fi would be better quality wise, but will take much more time. Especially if you're sending it in. Psi will have less quality, still playable, but you will have faster response time. so pick which one you want.
  9. For anyone whom wants a demo. I will be in Michigan this Weekend. The plan is to have a car meet of roughly ten or so people. Let me know if you want the details!
  10. heck yea!
  11. I had one like this. Resolution was to remove dustcap, sand down the glue, re solder the connection from tinsel lead to coil lead, glue it back down, fix.
  12. I guess she's pretty! Pretty Quiet!
  13. Hmm, great idea! And great point, transportation haha. I suppose I could use the rack mount on top of my vehicle. But this would require more labor to build everything together. But would make for a great winter project. I'll keep that in mind as I didn't event think about that. Googling now!
  14. Hey, thanks. Ok, so how did the PA speakers sound musically? Like, compared to traditional in car 6.5"s for example. Did it sound hollow and echoe'y? OMG! 48 pair really!? So 96 6x9's!? I just couldn't imagine haha. So since this work was done in the history, if you was to do this work again, today, what equipment would you go with? A shit ton of marine 6x9s again, or maybe just a few PA speakers, or any other methods?
  15. Marine Horn! That's something I can google. Thanks! Holy crap, theirs a lot of products they offer! haha. Thanks, I'll dig through this to see what I can find. Ok got it! Yeah, the main reason why I wanted to avoid the whole PA system type of horn, is because of the sound it makes. It doesn't really sound musical at all. Lol. Which I don't think it was designed to. It sounds echo'y, and hollow'y lol. But, I didn't want marine speakers either, because they lack the output compared to an PA horn. So that's how I came up with the idea to use a real Pro Audio Horn and body, but need a way to make it weather proof. With the suggested links and info, I will do some more searching.
  16. Yeah, definately more port area!!!! lol.
  17. HA! Great idea! I had an simliar idea, of sticking foam inside the throat, but that foam obviously could for example, get wet, which would have really negative results haha
