wow......thats really impressive one 12 doing a hair under 140@34hz wow i'm getting 2 12's and one orion 2500d and i'm wiring them in paralell to get a 1.75ohm load...so i should get somewhere aoround 2000watts give or take depending on the box...i think it has the balls to be a 150db daily LSQ sub 80

well when i get these subs...i getting one 12 and putting it in a bandpass tuned at 30hz....and i'm slapping a orion 2500d on it...i will wire the sub at 4ohms so the sub can get 1200watts...and the gains will be at the lowest setting 80

well i plan on getting 2 rl-s12's and slapping them in a 4th order bandpass....the 2 will be in a common 2.25cubes sealed chamber playing into a 1.59 ported chamber as far as port...it will be 45square inches and 15deep giving me a tuned freq of 63hz....i know i will get flammed 4 doing this...but i'm going to do it...yes sq will go out the window but guess what...i have the wood available to do it but thats just to see what it does in that application...but i will also put 2 of them in a big sealed box ...3.622cubes for one..and see how that go's 80 just telling u guys what i plan on doing

this is a very knowledgable thread i should jump in this and tell u guys what i think about the rl-s paramteres.u know what..heres how i feel....the high q is good and all..but i thought the higher the q the smaller the box...i wasnt expecting the rl-s to need a huge box..for that matter..it should have q of .3 and lower....the low efficiency i'm not worried about..i will have the power to move it anyway...but what interesting to me is the fact that the fs is not as low as i thought....the rl-s need a ported box tuned between 14-20hz...i thought that was interesting becuase the fs on both drivers are not that low.... but hey what do i know...i'm going to try these subs in a 6th order bandpass..so sq i think might be out the window..but from modeling 2 rl-s 12's its output is comparable to 3 mojo15's!..i dont now how true that is just by looking at graphs(using bbp6) but if its even remotely accurate...that would be great 80
