  1. Yessssh! Tuned in. Sick Box btw. Did y’all have a part in that ?
  2. Nice. Lol. You got vids of it playing ? How do you like it ?
  3. Yea no problem. But there’s some discrepancies lol for one the seat will be raised up a bit because I cheated the front height a little. If not the box sticks out past the seat an inch and a half. But he said he was fine with it sticking out a bit.
  4. Yea buddy looks sick.
  5. Mele kalikimaka bro. It’s actual volume after displacement is slightly less than 2 cubes. So you could add a brace in there or two to get it to 1.75. Lmk if there’s any questions. The way way I build it would be top and bottom pieces same size and everything else is sandwiched in between. The port start it behind the front panel. So make sure it’s 3.5. And then the second part of the port. I put it on the side of the first part. Make sure u double check to make sure it keeps the 3.5 consistent all the way through. I also used end correction to help keep the amount of air space the port takes up down. And keeps your tuning at the 38hz you wanted. Lmk if you got any questions. And this is just a box built for his application. This ain’t a built to sundown specs box. Just working with the space he has tuned to the music he listens too.
  6. Snug like a bug in a rug!
  7. heres me testing it. I’ll have to ask my boy to video it in his truck when he gets the chance
  8. It fit a 2012 Chevy Silverado crew cab. Umm I could draw it out. Lol idk how to use sketch up and what not
  9. Thank you thank you. Just trying to get my reps up lol. Can’t get better if I don’t expand my horizon. Plus I been searching high and low for a enclosure like this but their hard to come by. And the ones I did find weren’t very through so I just had to be the change I want to see. Hopefully it gives someone else who’s considering this a better starting point.
  10. It sounds great. Hits low and has a good range of bass. It’s hard to say exactly because it is outside a car so it doesn’t sound as in your face as I’d like but as I went in to the house it could deffinetly be felt. All in all I like it. I’ll have a more concerte answer for y’all when I get it into his truck i got it runnning off a taramps 10k 2 ohm version. So I wired it to 4ohm. So it should be seeing round 5k. I thought I’d have to baby it so I kept the bass knob half way and I played music a lot lower than I would of o was to blast it. But it didn’t really move so I upped the volume and it began to wake up. So I was curious to see what’ll happen so I turned my knob all the way lol and it took it. Through a few different songs at that. Not once did I feel like it started to over work itself.
  11. Ok so got it wired up for a test run on my amp. I’ll have to run it at 4ohms on my amp and his will be wired to 1ohm
  12. Good morning y’all. I’ll update in a few hours. Gonna eat some breakfast then workout
  13. All done. Gonna let it sit over night then put the subs in to hear how it sounds.
  14. Beautiful winter day to build something.
  15. Yea he ain’t competing. And he probably will have passengers with him but I’m sure he would rather have the best seat in the house than his passengers lol.
  16. Oh wow! Thanks for the input. And the recommendation on port area. I was trying to follow the Soundqubed recommendation which was around 16”. But glad to know you approve of it. Gonna wrap it up today I’ll post some pics. Later
  17. Thanks ! Really appreciate it. I’ll wrap it up tomorrow. Getting late here. And hopefully I’ll wake up to some inputs on which side I should fire the port. I’m leaning more towards the driver side, so that way he feels the air moving which in turn will make him think it’s a loud ass system lol
  18. A question for y’all. Where would you recommend firing the port? Behind the driver side or passenger side? He wants it loud. One side will have two subs and the side with the port will have a sub right above it. Thanks for the input guys
  19. Box is 51” wide 17” deep back height I pushed 6 1/4 and the front is 11”. I was having the hardest time with the port. I really was shooting for 15 square inches. But it just wouldn’t work. So I opted to shrink it to about 12 in per cube. After displacement it it comes out to 2.5 tunes to 33hz.
  20. He’ll be using a hifonics Brutus 2400.1 to power em.
  21. Hey y’all friend wanted to add some bump to his truck so I suggested some Soundqubed hds2.108s. He got them on sale so now I’m gonna go ahead and attempt cool build.
  22. Oh ok I got ya. And damn that sucks lol some of the lengths it’s giving me is pretty long lol and you’ve just clarified that it’s each port lol. Thank you my good sir! I assume the same goes for a slot port ?i see some people putting dual ports in boxes.
