It depends if the woofer has good off axis response. Is there any way you could do some sort of fiberglass in the door ? Shure you can get 5 1/4, but 6 1/2 has that much more midbass...

They will basicaly say the same thing. My friend had the 5500MP, he went to a 9300 now to a 940MP The 13 band EQ makes the mids/tweeters sound so much nicer and the sub volume is great as well. Turn it up if you need to show people who is boss or keep it low for that nice filler bass
