Nope. Its done that way so there is no cancellation of the waves. On teh enclosure i built for my friend there was no place i could fit the ports except for the side of it.

The vinyl will outpeform them..bottom line I deadned my friends doors with 1 layer of eDead and there is no rattles. Except on the outer door skin ( cheap hondas and there thin metal)

I prefer UPS myself. I can walk in, tell them where i want it shipped and pay for it. No paperwork to fillout ( unlike USPS and FED EX) and they have my address in there computer. Its also closer than stupid fedex

There are always the asphalt based deadners ( PnS, eDead, fatmat ect) that are cheaper than the vinyl
