It doesnt like .5 because its not rated for .5 If you mod it it will eaisly do .5ohms. That amp makes its power at lower ohms/higher volts.

You cant really abuse the amp at all unless you get rid of it If you want to mod it i think i still have the diagram, you just need to clip a few resistors, very simple. P.S I suggest you elevate the amp with some sort of blocks so air can flow under it since the headsink is on the bottom. The fan is also eaisly replaceable. Bro was gonna get a blue one with LED's in it a while back
