Which company sells the best wires
When you mean wires, do you mean interconnect cables or power/speaker wire? It comes down to a matter of where you think price and build quality intersect in a place that makes sense for you...you can spend hundreds or thousands on cables, but to me, that's simply not worth it. On the other hand, I don't want something that will fall apart on me after a few years' use.

You should have told her you were Jewish Hey, if she's going to do that, call her on it.

Bass Comp
You're coming near the end of the competition season for most sanctioned organizations, so I'd check the USACi, dBDrag, and MECA sites. Local competitions, you're on your own for that one, Google and word of mouth

You could always get some Techflex and wrap/heatshrink them over the cables if you're looking for a different look...that's what Knu does with the eKs line (or whatever that $50 and up line is called).

Welcome to the IHoP
Plenty of people make some really nice cables, what's special about Knu is that they make those cables for that price

I swear I'm about to tell one of my group members off for this VB project. Maybe I'm just mistaking flamboyance for arrogance and a penchant for making belitting comments, but...I don't think so.

You can use VBA, or Visual Basic for Applications. All Microsuck products have the editor already installed. Now as to how to do it, no idea but I have watched code get edited a few times...I just don't know VB. I've done VBA work in Excel, but in this class we're strictly using Visual Studio to do the code (is more oriented for making GUIs and stuff beyond macros). I think I found out how to do it, though...

Welcome to the IHoP
Does anyone know anything about hooking Visual Basic up to a database for functions and stuff? I'm sure it involves "SQL", but this is one of those projects where we're assigned the task months before we cover how to do it. I'm just wondering what form I need the database to be in, like if I need to put all the records into an Access file or something.

2 15" L7 or 2 15" FI Q
Have you already ordered the Q's or something? Because unless you have, I don't see why that would be a problem...
-
2 15" L7 or 2 15" FI Q
If you already have that amp, I'd go ahead and use it. The JL does have some benefits over RF or Sundown, but I'm not sure it's really going to matter for what he's doing

True sine wave inverters for that price? He'd need to stay far away from anything with a square wave output. I know true sine wave-capable inverters are out there, heck Radio Shack used to carry them back in the days when they had a catalog, but I don't remember them being very cheap.

2 15" L7 or 2 15" FI Q
Then in that case...ignore what I said.

2 15" L7 or 2 15" FI Q
IMO, they can work fine with less power than that

Well, are you talking about linear or switching supplies? I have a 50A Astron linear supply, and the transformer inside of it nearly gives me a hernia anytime I move it. Good transformers aren't cheap. SMPS designs can be built more cheaply.
-
Can any one build me one of these? Inexpensive?
4Runners look good with those kind of bumpers anyway, sheet metal is optional on them

guess what amps...
