  1. You won't hear the difference with a "couple hundred" watts more power, it'd be hard to notice even on a sensor.

  12. T-linespeakers.org has an 8-foot straight Sonotube TL design, about as simple as I've seen...just a stuffed pipe with the woofer mounted on one end.

  15. Kent, if you get the chance sometime, try running a metal midrange with a very shallow slope on the low pass...metal breakup nodes are pretty easy to hear if you have the crossover set wrong. Paper cones are a lot more tolerant of shallower transitions to the tweeter.

    You'd say the quality of their internals is good, though? The guy I bought my desktop from had a 40GB Barracuda in it, never really used it since my main drive now is a 250gig WD with XP...
