X in the house
Honestly, the photo gallery is the only reason I go there on a regular basis...it's the best of any forum I'm on.

SIN is where my roots are...but the place almost died in the past year, it's barely getting back...

AA Small Speakers
I've been looking at some of those Hemp designs...I prefer my Fostex Sigmas though, no whizzers I might try a pair of those OB some day though...I'm getting the urge to be openly baffled Every body is: it's the next TL. All the cool kids are doing it... I don't have anywhere near the room required to do it right (too close to the wall), but I'm going to have almost a full sheet of ply left over from the Frugels, so I need something cool to build with it...if sound like they have potential I'll just hang on to them until I do get the room.

I got a Q
Indeed Sub enclosures tuned over 33Hz'ish sounds too rolled-off and artificial to my ears, YMMV.

I was thinking more along the lines of the FR125 or Jordan JX92...doesn't have to be high-eff at all, I'm sure Creative Sound has sold a bunch of those little 4.5's

RE audio SR10
I liked the SR. Didn't really do anything wrong, wasn't jaw-droppingly amazing but it was something I could live with. Now, when the dealer price came into the equation...just became uncompetitive

Power Question
Run them without strapping at first, you might find that even with the lower power, you still have enough output. If you don't...either find subs that do better with lower power, or get more Zed amps!

60Hz is optimistic for those, unless you have really well-sealed doors and lots of deadening...

HOLY CRAP!
Hopefully us 120VAC guys won't get neglected either, I'd love to see more than just subwoofers coming out of Ascendant again...

There is no "best box", only a best choice for you based on what you want to do with it. 3.5cF @ 30Hz is a good starting point, you can go from there if you find you prefer one side of the spectrum more than the other - if you like a more balanced approach or just want more volume. And it's "what".

Welcome to the IHoP
Pwned myself pretty hard last night. Didn't think I had a CS project due Monday night...oh, but I did. And those collectively are 40% of the grade. My other grades in the class are near 100's (exams and labs are easy to get perfect scores on), but damn. Going to have to go in and ask what my options are...not looking for a handout, this is my fudgeup, but if I can't end up with a C+ by the end of the year there's really no point in me staying in the class...

6x9's
You're sending the speakers too much power... I don't mean any offense, but it sounds like you'd be much better served by simply ditching the 6x9s completely.

If that's what's recommended, that's what recommended...
