I always lose a bunch...even though I use piano wire leaders when going after bluefish, every now and again you'll get a big one that just chomps through it and continues on its merry way... nevermind being on a boat...multiple treble hooks + structure = you catch the structure- Now Playing!

I'm up early...just because I was drinking last night it happens- Upgrading Coax?
Most two-way RF connectors are rated for 50ohms, simply because that's what most radio outputs are rated for. Also, N-connectors are rated for microwave use, because they have the least insertion loss and they're waterproof. N-connectors are often used for 1GHz and above, just because PL-259s and BNCs have too much loss at those frequencies. But for normal home use, F-connectors are fine...especially for receiving. You aren't as concerned with standing wave ratio.- Xmax of loaded BTL
Bah, Xmax is about the last thing I look at...- Upgrading Coax?
I assume this is for CATV? Belden makes some good stuff...if they have a quad-shielded RG-6QS equivalent I'd go with that.- FYI (part 2)
I should take pictures of the dirt and grime that's covering the van at the moment, lol even the freshly painted side is dirty, it's really a mess- Your favorite headunit of all time?
I've never owned anything but Alpine units...out of those, my current 9835 is clearly the favorite. Excellent crossovers, the graphics make it easy to set things, and fast browsing of MP3 CDs. All the head unit I could ever need unless I went to a P9 or H701 setup.
