I really wouldn't have the room for the Altecs anyway, my apartment is about the worst place for 110dB/W speakers... My parent's place is dying for some big horns...since it's a timberframe house, the second floor is totally open, no attic or anything so it's 20 feet right to the top of the roof line. Would be cool to hear an orchestral piece and actually be able to get the stage height intended by the recording Can't fake that...
