Well, hard to argue with twenty bucks if it works and is in decent shape. I'd much rather have a PAS-3 given the choice, though

Look at my new toy ^_^!!!!!
Werd...tube pr0n or I'm not sure what Peavey uses as stock tubes in that, but I'm willing to bet that swapping the stock 12AX7's for GE 5751's and replacing the 6L6's with beefier ones will get you better tone and distortion characteristics... \m/

Spent most of the day working @ Duke...well, the country club anyway. The band they hired for the reception was one I'd never seen before there, effing monstrous setup for an indoor ballroom...looked like dual 18's per channel, horn loaded midranges, HLCD's on the top end. Each channel was a good 10 feet high worth of stacked cabs with a rack of ancient Crown amps driving 'em. I'm surprised they didn't break any glasses on the tables during sound check

42" is a long ways down, did you raise your seats??? I am not sure I could get them that low in my truck, but I do tend to underestimate my size sitting down. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Surprisingly no , The damn seats sit way up off the floor. There is like 8" of clearance underneath the seats. Was toying with the idea of mounting a 10" under each seat at one time <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Bet the distance to my kicks is longer <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Fook kicks in the bat cave. Let's build a whole new dash Center channel sub FTMFW <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Matt's Stratus would be better than the bat cave for that, has a deeper dash 4's.- Welcome to the IHoP

Yep , what you want to know ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How do you think the vertical dispersion is? I'm trying to decide between these (cheeep) or going the expensive route (planars). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are you doing a line array with them? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yar. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It might be worth buying an ND20 to test, since they have such a small faceplate and are so cheap it might be an option. I have not heard one yet, the next time I order from PE I am going to get a pair for chits and gigggles. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was thinking more like MMMMMMMM T MMMMMMMM or something like that. So I'd only need one per channel. But that's going to be hard on a regular silk dome- Welcome to the IHoP
