That's the next step. I've been writing down his responses, so all I'm waiting for is for him to come back and say I agreed to have the payment sent out Monday instead of when we talked last Friday. Then comes the "if I don't see $730 in my Paypal account in the next 10 minutes I get on the phone with my attorney...and I've already notified the FBI..." which I have, but they haven't gotten back to me of course.

To do list for tomorrow - - go to teh courthouse @ 9AM and find out if I can get moved up ASAP, instead of f'ing me over in the fall - call the asshats up and yell at them for their lies when my overnight letter doesn't show up..."Oh, we sent it out Friday..." Fuck you and everything you stand for. - maybe start work on the van, who knows

I'd fight that chit... Probably wouldn't trust having those amps anywhere near me in a dorm, though I never brought the Decware Zen up to my dorm when I owned it, just didn't want the hassle. I have a remote now.......wheeeeeeeeee!

Just got a jury summons in the mail...fudge August 22nd...day after classes start at Tech. Thanks Orange County.

The only other guy from my HS to actually make it more than a year at VT has an AK, I forget where it's from though. Another one of my friends has an AR-15 that he's sunk quite a bit of money into. I've shot both, neither are real practical weapons, unless you're invading someplace...the AK gives you the feeling you could run over it with a truck in the mud and it would still work, but it's not terribly accurate. The AR is far more of a precision instrument, but you get the feeling if you looked at it the wrong way it'd jam up. And .223 isn't a very useful round in the woods...

He measured the resonance of the tubes (glass part I believe) and the best solution was to place the cage on the amps. Just like from the factory. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tube cages? Factory?

I thought about going with a full tube preamp for mine, but...there's no getting around the fact that a AC-heated, tube rectified cathode follower is noisy. Especially with efficient speaks. The nice thing about the Rogue is that it should be stone quiet...

Nah, needed to tweak the wooden base a bit, I built it a little too small and it probably would have seperated the miter joints over time. So I had to bring it back with me from B'burg and fiddle with it.

Silly British and their component sets. I'm thinking of putting the tubes back in the one monoblock I have here, opening the case on the new preamp and seeing if everything works well...so what if I've only got one channel here...
