The 10 gallon gas tank comment made me chuckle a little, and then cry on the inside.

Nah...absolute worst case, I have an uncle that lives in Portland who's been bugging me to visit his new place, I'd just drive up and pay a visit from there That would probably be in early August sometime.

Welcome to the IHoP
I swear...some people... Called the Seattle police today, no real luck there although they were pretty helpful in what they could do. I filed a report to the FBI's internet fraud division, so we'll see if the Feds get back to me.

Welcome to the IHoP
I used to know a guy that did that for a living...high-risk tree removal service. He also was a bodybuilder, started when he was 40 or something, he was in his late 40's when I knew him...guy was built. And of course, in the Southeast, hurricane season pretty much guarantees you a business...

Parametric Equalizer Help!
You can individually adjust each frequency that you want to boost/cut, as well as the bandwidth and of course amplitude. What frequencies you want are going to depend on your setup and what you're looking to get out of equalization - if you're just trying to tame a nasty peak in cabin, shoot for a flat response to the ear or emphasize something your speakers don't bring out well. But in general, it's always better to have to use the EQ to attenuate something rather than boost it.

The reason I came across it is because that guy was responding to another's question on DIYaudio, asking why there aren't more 833 SET amps out there, hehe.

Makes my SV811's with their 500V plate voltages and 20lb. transformers seem positively...wimpy That's the same kind of tube used in the $350,000 WAVAC's from Japan. In-sane.

Rust repair/painting tips
Ramos and Matt have both seen it...but to give you an idea, imagine the rail on a cargo van, the inside has some surface rust that's bubbling/coming up to the outer side in two or three spots, none longer than 5" or so. And there's a few minor scrapes on the roof I want to get before they turn into something worse.
