Maybe by the time the supply runs out I'll be a pimp and make enough to afford 845 monoblocks...22W DHT, *drool* But those would be the only amps I'd buy to replace the SV811's...I don't like 300B's, and 2A3's don't have enough power for me anymore.

Should get two or three years out of a set of power tubes...hopefully.

The driver tubes (6EM7's) aren't made anymore, but RCA and GE made somewhere approximately around eleventy bajillion and one of them, so they're dirt cheap on the used market. Like $5 each.

Post something on Audio Asylum looking to see if anyone has replacement tubes...seems like although next to no one distributes SV811's, tons of people have ones in boxes sitting in closets or whatever. I'll probably just keep 4 or 5 pairs lying around for now (close to 10 years worth of replacements).

That era Bronco's are cool too, just next to impossible to find in good shape anymore. Same with IH Scout 800's...nothing wrong with a small 4 banger, but they're either "for parts only" or just underwent frame-offs and the owners want $15k for 'em.
