you're way past due mister <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, it's been a good month since we've had a Jmac rant about life...- I too am a believer!!
My Decware Zen was something like $375/watt retail, didn't pay that much for it, though... That amp is beautiful- Happy Birthday Penny

Not mine, but there certainly are a few around here that use the "Mexican suspension lowering kit".- Welcome to the IHoP
china actually <{POST_SNAPBACK}> they are hardcore in asia. my parents told me about when they were in school and the teacher could hit them with a stick. when my cousin came over in 7th grade, she said our math was too easy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> they took our jerrrbs- Welcome to the IHoP
What's this about people 5'5" and under? I may be taller than that, but watch out for us short people... Especially short people in large vehicles.- Welcome to the IHoP
Didn't really think these were worth a seperate thread...so they go here... Went to the NC fairgrounds today, sort of an electronics/surplus swapmeet type thing. Honestly, it sucked compared to past years, but the price of gas is probably due to a lot of that...so sorry for the lack of pictures. Some dude selling *huge* cables. To give you a sense of scale, the middle-sized wires that go into the red quick disconnect - those were 1/0. The big one looked to be 4/0, wasn't marked. Not many strands, either...could beat someone to a pulp with that. Some 'lil tubes... Some big 'uns... Who wants 1F caps for $15 each? Not much in the bling department, though... Rigged for battle... Who ya gonna call? Driver's side... O'scopes, anyone? These guys are based out of Wilmington, NC, and make some of the best mobile shortwave antennas on the market. Expensive, though. If you can pay $500 for a giant motorized phallic object on the back of your vehicle, they do work well That's all for now... I've got some woodworking projects to do today, and I'll be driving back to B'burg later tonight.- xj6 jaguar
I'd rip those chinsy chrome fender flares off, but just IMO- Welcome to the IHoP
Probably really good...if it was built into something else. Like a double layer of MDF, and a layer of 1/4" birch ply covering it...all built into a bookcase or entertainment center.- Welcome to the IHoP
About to run off to Lowe's in a bit, pick up some trim and measure it for the Rava cabinet... All I need to do is make two side pieces for it, bevel off the front. Would take me 5min and look 10x better than filling it and hoping the stain matches.- Welcome to the IHoP
LMAO That was fast. They just introduced a lottery in NC for the first time a couple of months ago, I saw the signs the last time I went home. Oh, on another note, did you ever find out what happened to that dispatch job in C-burg? If they're still looking for someone, I'm basically overqualified...- Welcome to the IHoP
I'm bored as well...- Welcome to the IHoP
I still haven't been able to contact Ramos about my stuff...every damn time he's around I forget to mention it.- Welcome to the IHoP
Get to drive the newer van around town tomorrow deliviering and setting up chit, but that's fine because I'll be getting paid for it.- dd vs. new re
L7s have won many SQ competitions, over round cones that supposedly have more "potential" according to that logic- Welcome to the IHoP
I'm one to agree with this...- Welcome to the IHoP
Or just keep a gas powered car for long distances, and drive an electric as a daily driver. Could probably get 50 or 60 miles off a single charge, which...let's face it, I don't travel that much in a single day or two. Keep the EV on a float charge otherwise...while the gas powered one gets saved for the several-hundred mile trips back home.- Welcome to the IHoP
Big-ass Silverado, late '80s vintage, with 20-gallon twin tanks Fill one with a 80/20 biodiesel mix (veg. oil/methanol), and the other with straight veggie oil. One tank for engine starting, the other for regular operation once it's warmed up.- Welcome to the IHoP
I'm seriously thinking about keeping the van for another year, two at the most, and buying some sort of diesel...anything with a diesel, 4WD, and a manual is fair game. - SSAudio.com ....
